Decided to try smokeys after eating at Nathan's 2 days before.
So glad we did, we at around 15.30 after swimming so we managed to get some bits off the grazing menu.
4 kids had hot dogs £4.99 each
2 portion chips
Lattice fries with fried eggs
1 Greek salad and extra Jacket Spud
Filthy onion rings --- (so tasty would highly recommend)
Brisket stacker
2 apple slaws
Tasted really fresh and full of flavour, the brisket was melt in your mouth.
Onion rings were really crunchy soft fresh onion in the middle (not mushy processed) and not over cooked!
Hotdogs- they were tightly packed with meat loads of cheese sauce. Kids couldn't finish them.
Salad - extremely fresh but possibly a little too much vinegar if I need to be critical.
Lattice fries very tasty but the salsa makes them soggy very quick. (But still worth having ) not too spicy.
Bill for all 7 people was around £80
Whether staying on the site or not, this is a popular bar for locals and holiday makers alike. The bar is situated overlooking Windmill Beach and the solent and has a good selection of beers and bar food and is good for taking in a bit of sport.
Had a lunch here before their grand opening of the season. What a venue! Such a delicious food, friendly and efficient service! Definitely worth a visit! Thank You! Be back again!
Prior to grand opening myself and a few friends were lucky enough to sample the new menu! It was absolutely fantastic! The flavours were amazing.
We got to try the new menu here before the open.... and omg the vegan options were sensational! Honeslty the best vegan dish at a non vegan restaurant for a long time. Definitely worth a visit!
Nice to grab a little food here while the littleun played in the sandpit. Wait times were fairly long, and food was tasty. Probably wouldn't come here again, but it was good while it lasted - a pleasant hello & goodbye
Literally the worst meal I have ever been subjected to. Everyone left most of their food. Nothing is actually BBQ and most of it is badly cooked.
Good bar and restaurant with moderatly fast serving times , even when busy, usually clean with good food, nice staff. Nice environment to be in.
