I'm from Birmingham and travelled up to Milton Keynes work related. Popped in to Smokey J in the evening. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious and tasty. Service was excellent. Will be definitely returning soon.
Had to try this place after someone told me about a new place in town, located in a industrial estate around motor garages, place is nicely decorated and themed, friendly service but very disappointed with the food, ordered a mix starter platter and it was all fried food, cheap frozen chicken nuggets like McDonald’s, fried chicken wings (dry), fried falafel, fried onion rings, and what looked like fried kebabs very oily food, then the fries where very cheap quality what you would expect from a £1.99 chicken shop, then the burgers are all frozen patties, could see the kitchen staff taking out of a packet and sticking on the grill, if this place specialises in burgers the least they could do is put together their own freshly prepared burgers. Least to say the burger didn’t taste very appetising. Then the grilled chicken looked like was fried first then placed on the grill, dripping with oil and very dry. This is a nice place but they need to up their game in quality ingredients and flavours.
We have visited 8 of us 1st time enjoy there special grill Tawa very nice food service was fantastic friendly staff we will visit again
Nice atmosphere, food took a while to be cooked as the restaurant was fairly busy. However it was delicious. I believe we had to pay for parking.
Awsome food, very generous portions, very impressed with the whole set up the staff was very polite and welcoming. Whilst waiting for our food we was given some complimentary starters than the main course came along with huge portions very fulfilling. This place was reasonably priced which was a bonus too, at the end of the meal we was given some more complimentary ice cream as the manager insisted we had have, which i thought was very generous of him. Definitely will be returning to this place even though it is a fair few miles from our home. Highly recommended check this place out, keep it up guys... ????
Absolutely loved ittt!!! Excellent customer service. The staff were really friendly kind and well mannered. The food was delicious, on time and freshly cooked. The restaurant itself is an amazing place. Definitely going to recommend this to friends and family and going to come back soon.
Excellent service and food. Impressed with presentation and flavours. Bit of a wait for the food, expected because food is cooked from fresh. Open kitchen design, you can watch your food getting cooked. First visit and would go again. They have just started takeaway delivery through the just eat app.
Looks good from the outside but just another average burger place. Food was average, presented on slates and hard to eat as spilling out. Chips were cold and the shwarma had no taste. The restaurant was also dirty, staff were zombie like and need training. For limited halal options in Milton Keynes, this was a good effort but needs work.
