This is in the best way possible an old fashioned bakery. All the pies and cakes are made daily and sandwiches are made to order with a great selection to choose from. The staff are always friendly and chatty - you can only do card payments if you spend £5. Oh and the prices are very reasonable as well. You will not be disappointed ????

I travel from Cleveleys near Blackpool regularly just for their pork pies. I can’t find them anywhere near me that taste soooo good. I used to go there 20 years ago and still look forward to eating them. I have also had other pies and pastries which I recommend to everyone.

Smiths is a great bakery, I don't really know why it's listed as a sweet shop. Lovely fresh bread, cakes, pies and sandwiches. Hard to beat for a meat pie
Had a good breakfast in the cafe. Very nice staff. Already has a small Christmas selection. Loads to look at. Very nice place to visit.
