So we arrived at 21 p.m in the evening at the aerport and did not know where to stay; so we called this hostel and they picked us up und were so friendly and open to us!! they cooked us at 22 p.m., and the next day they gave us different cake to test, taught us how to use bow and arrow and made a tour with us to the center and market. They even got information for us for our bus in the evening and they drove us to the bus station and waited with us. You will never have a better traditional experience than that and you will never find better hosts!! We loved them
one of the best hostels i’ve ever been to! It started as a cafe, then developed into a hostel when people kept asking if they could stay. It’s owned by a cute family. They’re so kind and have very good english. Unfortunately I only stayed one night, but I want to come back to stay more. They’re recovering from the pandemic so when I went, they only had one room/tent available but it was very comfortable and only 150 baht. I slept the best I had in weeks there. They picked me up from the bus station, gave me some food, and showed me some archery! In the morning they took me on a little tour of some places in Khon Kaen and out for lunch. Before I left, i also got a coffee there for 50 baht and it was one of the best coffees i’ve ever had ???? after lunch they took me to my next destination. I can’t wait to come back! A hidden gem.
Wonderful place. With wonderful owners. This the kinda place you just want to stay and never leave. Quiet place. Home made delicious bread and jam. Friendly dogs and chokdee the turtle❤️.

Lovely city, very non-touristy but well worth the stay. Planned on staying only 1 day but ended up staying 5! The family there are so helpful and made us feel so welcome, we felt like we were part of it! Offering us free bananas and Thai tea. The rooms are quite basic, so don't expect anything luxurious, all you need is a bed anyway! They make their own coffee there which is definitely worth a try! It's well known in the city for it. Well situated hostel near a nice walk around a lake, and a 9 floor temple giving a nice view of the city. Definitely worth a visit here even if you just go for the coffee! Water park is worth a visit too. Wish I could have stayed longer! Thank you so much for having us!
