If you have dogs, and you love a place without judgemental vibes when you are new to the community. This is the bar where you should visit.
Seems the staff can't cope with the number of customers or mismanagement. Three attempts to get our drinks order correct, staff bringing over other tables drink orders. Prices were okay and the place had a good atmosphere though, shame about the service, hence 2 stars.
Great little bar. Live music playing on the night I was there. Gary Murphy and friends were fantastic. Only really snacks available in the evening. Guinness zero available as well as other non alcoholic beers. Definitely worth a visit.
Only good thing I can say about this place was the friendliness of (most of) the staff. Most things on the menu items had run out and the baked goods were dry and stale. The toilet seat was coming off the bowl in one bathroom and the disabled toilet was filled with so much stuff that it was unusable. The servers working there were great but there was a man (presumably the boss) speaking very rudely to them and raising his voice while there were customers around. It was fairly uncomfortable to be in there so I won’t be visiting it again.
Popped in to try a new place, got soup, chicken pie and 2 small bottles of coke, spent £13.Food was poor for the price and guess the place is more catered for night time clientele aka bar vibe. Must try harder before we return in relation to other places within locale
Great little bar and cafe. Visited about lunch for a coffee and cake. Staff we're very friendly and quite happy to talk about the history of the place. Looking forward to trying the bar of an evening.
Great little bar, friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks & food & they also had the footy on the Tv!!
They also allow dogs in which is a plus in my book ❤️
Had a great return to Slinky's, great non alcoholic stuff. Really lovely staff. Only thing was the bar snacks in jars are stale. (They're missing seals)
Otherwise amazing and welcome back!
