A busy cafe with nice menue. We ordered a full breakfast with toast and coffee. After a short wait we were served with our meal which looked liovely. My friend had asked for crisp bacon but unfortunately, it was extremely pale and undercooked. My bread had been warmed but definitely not toasted. The server took both meal and toast away and soon rectified the matters. The food was good quality and very tasty.
Really great cafe, lots of choice. Home cooked and delicious. Friendly and courteous staff.
A proper traditional cafe with excellent food and service.
I think these are new owners.they didn't accommodate for children at all.i ordered scampi and chips with no peas salad didn't appear.children had fish fingers and chips and refused to eat sauces as they were pretty disgusting.my husband had sausage and egg baguette and the egg was like concrete.our grandchildren love this little cafe but it was so disappointing. The girl I spoke to didn't even know what tartar sauce was.sad but won't be going back
This place is an absolute gem. Lovely Coronation chicken sandwich yesterday. Decided to have breakfast there this morning and it didn't disappoint.. Good quality bacon and sausage (choice between pork and Cumberland), eggs cooked how you want, baked beans tomatoes, has brown and fried potato. Plentiful quanities that set you up for the day. Mug of Tea or coffee inclued. Delivered promptly and with a smile. This is going to be our "go to" when we're in Ryde and want breakfast. My sister and brother-in-law were in there this morning and their verdict was "superb". We agree ???? ????! Well done!
Lovely little cafe. Went there for breakfast. Very nicely cooked. We liked it so much we went back for the next 3 days. Ideal place if you're staying at the nearby Travelodge.
Good honest friendly cafe. Breakfast in my view is the best in town an plenty of opinions. Staff are always polite an willing to change items to suit your tastes. Very busy cafe but a call will guarantee a reserve table which is a nice touch. Highly recommend if you like a old school breakfast.
Lovely little cafe, very friendly and reasonably priced. Nice good honest grub.
How this place has any Positive Reviews is beyond me. Today was my first and last time visiting. Myself, my Husband and my Mum decided to pop in for some Lunch, and straight away was left feeling very disappointed, disgusted and uncomfortable. The whole Cafe is filthy, Radiator riddled with dust, filth and white hair. The tables were heavily stained, from not being wiped down properly and the atmosphere in general was unpleasant. We then ordered our Food and Drinks, as we wanted to give it a chance, to which we were left even more disappointed. We ordered a Tea and 2 Lattes which none of which we enjoyed. The Food was horrendous too. We ordered Spaghetti Bolognaise, Curry and Sausage, Beans and Chips. Sausages had no flavour and were undercooked. The Chicken was tinned Chicken Curry - which tasted pretty bad. The Spaghetti Bolognaise was dry due to having no Sauce ???? it was all in all just an awful experience. Safe to say, we left feeling dissatisfied and still hungry. We won’t be returning again. It baffles me how they are still open.
