Steve was very thorough when he came to look over my Alfa Romeo GT. On first thought the fuel injectors needed replacing but Steve managed to find the issue elsewhere. Could have easily just replaced the injectors and taken my money and left me with the same issues as I started with but he's such a genuine bloke. Very happy with the service. He's a very friendly mechanic and I would recommend him to anyone.
Another good job done by Steve. Removed my old tyre, went and bought another, then fitted it. Also repaired my cigarette lighter. Then had a quick check of the engine. It’s been making a strange noise. He did a service last year, was very professional and polite. We’re so pleased to have found someone local to take care of our cars. Thanks Steve.
Steve offers excellent service. He came to me a few months back, last minute to check out a strange creak in my car. Turns out he’s an absolute enthusiast for the car I own and shared loads of helpful advice. Creak was nothing to worry about now but he gave the suspension a once I’ve just to be sure. Completely professional, reasonably priced and 10/10 service. Will defo be using from now on for any car needs!
After Steve fixed my starter motor on my Transit Van I have used him again to fully service the van and to replace the cam belts. Again this was all carried out efficiently and speedily and more importantly at a very acceptable and competitive cost. Steve picked the van up early Saturday morning and returned it Sunday. Throughout this time I was given text updates on progress.
I will be using Steve for the other cars in the household and have no problems recommending Steve.

I highly recommend Steve at SJP Autos. I generally dread needing work done on my car as I’ve always found it difficult to find someone I trust. Found Steve through some online reviews and I’m pleased to say I’ve found someone I will now use for all future work. Steve did a full service on my Ford Kuga. Booking was easy, Steve turned up on time, really friendly, completed the service as requested and also provided lots of helpful advice.
Steve came to my house and ran engine light diagnostics on one car and replaced rear brake pads on another. He was very efficient and knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Also very reasonable. I will definitely use him again and thoroughly recommend
Steve helped me out of a difficult situation at very short notice with my Astra J. Very knowledgeable, capable, experienced mechanic and worked quickly too. Great to find a decent an honest mechanic and will definitely call on Steve again in future and will be recommending him to everyone.
Exceptional service from Steve. Good value and very friendly. It was a nice change from other mechanics I've used in the past who just want to charge the earth, and he fixed my car here. Can't recommend him enough ????
