It was ok, interior was nice, parking ok. Staff were pleasant, prices decent...I think they were a bit under staffed on the day we went in. Food was ok, but only ok. Never been a massive fan of the food being served on a skillet, I get the gimmick, you knows it’s hot, but it’s not the easiest to eat off. Food tasted ok, wife’s poppadom wasn’t cooked properly, onions weren’t great on mine...all perfectly edible, better value than similar places though as you get a nice adequate portion for less money rather than a massive portion for more money. Toilets were pretty bad, they weren’t massively dirty, but they need refurbishment as they feel very dingy. Not a bad place, had better, had worse...
We went on a Sunday and it was incredibly quite yet still took 30minutes to get our food and when it did come the “sizzling” plates were cold to the touch and the food was sub-par and I swear we got like 2 full onion each on our plates it was ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend
Always come here for food. The service is always friendly and fairly fast and the price is decent. Good value and good food.
The plough at Sandiacre is a great place for a couple, or a family, it has wheelchair access, has toilets , good food, reasonable price friendly staff, has a garden at the back to sit outside and can view the canal from there too, you can just go for a drink, or have a meal, some good choices for vegetarians aswell as meat eaters, always a good choice for a cozy meal, highly recommend a try ????
Enjoyed the new menu. Prices seem to be creeping up but remains good value.
Nice food, even for vegetarians, quirky pub with a nice atmosphere and a large beer garden to the rear.
Best food and very local had a very nice christmas dinner spot on
