THE BEST COFFEE IN COLCHESTER... arguably Essex. With a selection of their own blends, fantastic selection of coffee-related products for true coffee connoisseurs... And with such great service to match, I cannot rate Sir Isaacs enough. I moved her 3 years ago and make the journey into the town centre as often as I can to get a Flat White.

A wide variety of creative sweets (????????…) & the best-in-town coffee in a very chill atmosphere. ???? Good place to chill with friends/ enjoy tranquil quality me-time but they have no-laptop policy so u can’t study/ work here.
We are Canadians from a town that is well known for having many independently- owned cafes, each using specific, locally roasted coffee beans. We are in Colchester for several weeks, so have been trying to find our go-to cafe for coffee. To be honest, so far we have found the coffee offerings to range from mediocrity to one-note, bitter awfulness - that is, until we tried the coffee at Sir Isaac’s Artisan Coffee this morning. Tada! We’ve hit the jack pot at last! The coffee has just the right amount of bitterness, and a full flavour. What’s more, James chatted with us in a very friendly, easy way, the decor is cosy and attractive, and the street view interesting, through a large window. We will most certainly be back!
With Colchester being home to a multitude of coffee shops it is easy to be overwhelmed with choice. That being said, 3 years ive lived in the area, 3 years of enjoying Sir Isaacs coffee and beans. I won't go anywhere else, it's that good. Good is amazing, atmosphere is cosy, owner is a joy and staff are alert and attentive. Jump to my side if your on the fence, you won't be disappointed!

Great coffee with and amazing selection of cakes. Friendly and quick service. They also do smoothies and milkshakes so will keep the kids happy whilst adults get a caffeine fix.
Came across this coffee shop whilst wandering through Colchester. Really lovely coffee and great atmosphere. Although slightly let down by the extra charge for non-dairy milk.
