This is a takeaway so the atmosphere is that of a takeaway. The food however was great, loved everything we got, the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was awesome and the stand out dish. Although as I have said the rest of the food was really good too
I've been getting food from here for a while (I remember his restaurant in Whitehaven very fondly) last night I got a chicken chow mein (among other meals) which I've had often and thoroughly enjoyed, however the chicken was almost inedible, tough and stringy. Totally unimpressed.
"STILL THE BEST CHINESE TAKEAWAY"
Was worried that our favourite Chinese takeaway in Workington was going to be no longer (after the previous owners decided to sell up) but I am pleased to report that we were both very impressed with the new owners food, just as delicious as always.
Also the new menu is very extensive,
with some great new editions.
Will definitely be returning, and are quite excited about trying some of their new dishes.

my chips are in the air fryer at home, because whoever it is that cooks needs some lessons because they were LITERALLY POTATOES i couldn't even bite them i had to just swallow them. as a result of this i have been sick in my mouth more that once will not be buying again love lexie glover xxxxx
Best Chinese takeaway in the area, we actually travel from Wigton to specifically go here. Cannot be beaten on price, portions or taste. Just perfect!
Good food, good service and ok price. The staff are usually very helpful when you have questions or concerns or even if they get your delivery wrong. Shows that they are trying and care. If you haven't tried it, give it a try and see for yourself.
Still a good Chinese, but no longer home made chips which previously made it stand out and is a sad change for the worse.
We have ordered loads of time food it lovely. But tonight Saturday Ordered our food, they said they were busy. So they would deliver about 45 minutes. Phoned after 1 hour, we where told it was out for delivery. Phoned another hour later, said it was out for delivery. She said she had two delivery drivers. They still didnt come. Then they rang me to say they had new staff. Havnt had a problem until tonight. Think they need staff that knows what to do. 2 and a half hours to wait for food is not on. BUT I DID ENJOY MY SOUP home made.
