This place is AMAZING, such a great feel like you are transported all the way to Turkey. This place is so much more than kebabs. They showcase genuine Turkish food in a very authentic feeling atmosphere. Their great staff and service as well as superb value for money makes me want to go back every time. A must go eat at restaurant when your in Taunton.

Friendly service great quality food and really good value. 5.90 for a hot chicken shawarma really impressed with the portion size. Definitely will be back the burgers looked good but I was in the mood for a wrap today! Would have taken a pic of my lunch but I'm afraid it didn't last every long ????
So refreshing to see a restaurant in Taunton serving food different from to everyone else, especially when it tastes this delicious, and this fresh. Can't recommend this place enough and can't imagine anywhere better to take a group to and try as much as possible!
Dined here with friends a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday evening. The staff were lovely and friendly. We had never been before and I’m a little annoyed at myself for not trying this place sooner. The food was absolutely incredible. We love Turkish and Cypriot food and it was definitely some of, if not the best, we’ve tried. Wonderful flavours, my chicken was cooked beautifully and the portion sizes were great. We can’t wait to come back!
The food was outstanding, so if you want a food experience then it's a must. However, there are some areas in need of improvement. We booked for a table of 11 and upon arrival we we seated at the floor table. There are cushions to sit on around a table. As authentic as this was, the majority of our party was extremely uncomfortable and really struggled for the 3 hours there. I would feel it would necessary to ask whether this table is suitable. We could have had disabilities and not been able to sit there. There was no other table to sit at as it was completely full. The live music was fantastic, but you couldn't see or hear him properly. It was too loud in there to appreciate the music. Some of the service was slow, although very polite. And things like cutlery and plates had to be asked for each time.
Will definitely come back, but will definitely be asking for a proper table and chairs, my 40 year old back can't take it!
Amazing, tasty food as always. We ordered the Vegetation sharing platter. There was so much food and each individual item was cooked to perfection. Each dish was completely different but complimented each other perfectly. We then had the Baklava and ice cream for dessert and it was divine! The atmosphere was great as always and the lady who served us was extremely friendly and welcoming. Had a lovely evening. Thank you ????
This is our 3rd visit to Silvans and each time we have visited everything has been spot on. The food is very flavourful and the service always friendly and there is nothing they won't do for you.
This restaurant is a little gem that deserves praise for offering consistency when in this current hospitality climate is hard to find. This is because it is family run and has a touch of homeliness about it. The food is authentic Turkish/Middle Eastern cuisine and Silvan has brought a little bit of the Middle East to Taunton. The ambience along with the decor and original Turkish music all adds to a lovely evening.
am enjoying the new menu which was released recently with something for everyone. My youngest son who is only just exploring new flavours says it is the 'best grilled chicken' he has had and that should be a real testament to the chef along with the Persian smoked rice!
We will look forward to our next visit ????
Really great food, we are at the restaurant and it was insane the quality and taste of the food.
