Esperienza consigliatissima!
Un interessante giro per il mercato a fare la spesa e poi nell’incredibile casa di Patrizia a cucinare, bere e mangiare!
Patrizia è stata accogliente, generosa e incredibilmente affettuosa. Ci siamo sentite come se stessimo a casa di un’amica! Abbiamo preparato caponata, pesto alla trapanese, involtini di pesce spada e cassata al forno.
Mentre cucinavamo abbiamo assaggiato formaggi, olive, bevuto vino, chiacchierato, riso e poi mangiato nella terrazza.
Una mattinata per entrare nel cuore della vita palermitana e godersi un ottimo pranzo.

One of the best tour experiences in any of our travels. Patrizia is a wonderful hostess, explaining and showcasing local flavours sharing her expertise, and ensuring we are well fed! Patrizia was absolutely a delight! She has the ability to make you feel so comfortable and at ease as if you’ve known each other for years. Like family! The cooking experience was amazing! I especially love going to shop at the market! She really loves Sicily and she loves cooking! I hope to return to Sicily and take another class! I don’t even know where to begin, but every moment was fabulous. From the moment we met Patrizia at Capo market, the magic began. Choosing our fresh produce, cheeses, breads and fish was amazing. The red Tuna was perfect and the veggies she chose were the absolute freshest. After shopping we strolled back to her home where we talked of food, history and everything Sicilian. When we arrived we started slicing and chopping, with Patrizia doing most of the work. Her heart and soul is evident in her cooking and the time we spent with Patrizia was absolutely wonderful. She paired wines with the dishes we made and it was perfect. Please don’t miss an opportunity to cook with Patrizia. We will definitely take another class with her when we are in town again.
I spent a wonderful four hours with Patrizia learning how to cook at least four traditional Sicilian dishes. From the moment we met at the market, her generosity and enthusiasm made the experience special. Her house is open and welcoming too. I can’t recommend the course highly enough, as not only did I have great fun around the food but Patrizia is a great story teller, so I learnt lots about Palermo too. My best day in Sicily so far!
This cooking class experience was nothing short of amazing. Patrizia was the best host! Took us to the market to pick out all the fish and produce then to her home to prep and cook. Learned a bunch and bought her cook book. Loved the whole thing. Highly highly recommend this if you come to Palermo.
