Minimum £5 charge on card. Not allowed and against visa and Mastercard regs. Reported. Also offering to up my purchase by 0.20p because it was £4.80 and not £5 so I could use my card. I don't think so.
Guy overcharged me, I wanted just a small chips and curry in a tray. He gave them to me in paper and a carton of curry and a carton of gravy?
I paid and though these better be good.
They were cold and under cooked, a bit rubbish so I’ll be missing this one out in future.
Shifnal Fryer is one of two dedicated fish and chip shops in Shifnal. The quality of the food is very good and I found the portions to be good, the range of food is what you would expect of a classic fish and chip shop. The Shifnal Fryer is well supported testifying to the quality of food and on festival nights queues of customers are well out of the door and down the street.
Had large cod chips mini fish, battered sausage, curry mushy peas - enjoyed it, plenty of cod.
Only issue is that on arriving home couldn't really taste the vinegar or salt, yet the chap definitely added it which was strange.
Been using this Fish and Chip shop for years now and have never had a bad experience, the food is cooked well, very tasty and very reasonably priced, the staff are very friendly and you can have a good laugh and joke with them. During these dodgy COVID times the staff have been very supportive and helpful, they value every customer and go the extra mile to help anyone in need of help. They can guarantee my future custom.

Decided on a treat for the family.
Donnor meat looks like its hardly cooked fish is slimy and cold in the middle but hot outside. And found a hair in the chips. Absolutely disgusting and extremely disappointed. Will never go there again.
Fantastic fish and chips! Not greasy and the cod is very tasty. Also the kebab meat and fried chicken is awesome. My regular chippy now.
