We booked the room upstairs for a baby shower. Fabulous room and service from all the staff. Would definitely recommend
Not my cup of tea. Called on a Saturday night, for the 'last uns'. Loads of very loud ,very drunk youngsters, having what they might consider to be a good time.
At least ,for future reference, you can be safe in the knowledge that if you're out in Carlton all the 'chavs' are in one place. So you can easily avoid them.
Held my sons surprise 18th birthday party here tonight. Absolutely amazing service ????. Staff were so attentive, friendly, efficient and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They did a hot buffet for our guests which was absolutely delicious. Lovely food. The guests commented on how lovely the food was ????
Had some great times here, best drinking pub in Carlton! No "chavs" just local folk enjoying a good time in an even better environment! UTSR! ????

I've always loved this pub since it reopened and look forward to going when visiting my parents house.
Today we held my mother's funeral and we all went back to the Sherwood Ranger after the service.
Sarah put on an amazing buffet for us and having the upstairs room to ourselves was great for all of us to I'd just like to thank everyone for their lovely comments.
Today we held a wonderful service to remember my amazing Mum and say our goodbyes.
It was hard, but I'm sure she would have been looking down on us with a smile on her face.
The Sherwood Ranger put on a delicious buffet for us afterwards which enabled us to remember how special Mum was to a lot of people.

This pub is what you expect a village pub to be, friendly staff and a very welcoming atmosphere.
First time in the quaint little pub, atmosphere is excellent.
Ordered a couple of home made pizzas- wow talk about been massive, had to ask for a takeaway box
