Wish I could give 0 stars. Had my flu vaccine booked for 2 weeks.
Arranged childcare, got there, only to be told they'd given away the last dose 2 minutes before i got there. Absolutely appalling. And the woman serving was rude about it too.
Also, as a pharmacy, surely you should be able to spell AILMENTS correctly on your shop front?
Do not go here. Don't book anything here as they will let you down and fail to cancel or give a curtosy call.
Really helpful. I rang to see if they had a prescription I needed for my new born after being told by numerous other pharmacies that they didn't have it in and also another pharmacy trying to tell me it's special order only (it was saline nose drops for babies). Was told on the phone this pharmacy had it in. When I arrived to pick it up, all was sorted quickly and I was given what my baby needed, no issues. This was also quite late at night so I didn't expect to have the result I did. Would definitely return here if I needed something in the future.
After dealing with so many pharmacies that seem to only be open from 9-5 Monday to Friday this place has been a godsend. I switched to this pharmacy a year ago and haven't looked back! The people are awesome and so helpful. I can't recommend them enough.
I booked in and received my Covid and Flu inoculations @Sherwood late night pharmacy. Friendly, efficient staff. Habib was simply charming. He joked about his training advising he shouldn't show the patient the needle prior to injection, when he was doing exactly that. Lol.
Went for my covid booster because I'm pregnant and had quite a mixed experience. The receptionist didn't have a clue what was going on - she put me on edge because she wasn't paying attention to what I was saying and kept interrupting me to talk to other people without giving any explanation or apology. The pharmacist himself was very friendly and efficient but didn't wear gloves or anything when administering the vaccination and didn't clean my skin with an alcohol swab. He also filled up the injection for the next patient when I was in the room and then just put it down on the table which is not best practice in terms of hygiene for giving injections. The sharps bin was also open in front of me and full of used needles which might be quite unsettling for some people. If I wasn't pregnant I may have been more chill about all of this because, whilst it wasn't best practice, it also wasn't terrible or dangerous. But because I'm pregnant it did make me feel a bit worried about hygiene. Not normally one to leave bad reviews but just wanted to put this out there so other people in a similar position can make an informed decision.
Arrived on time for my flu vaccination yesterday only to be told there were none available until Wednesday. I feel very let down that I was not informed in advance and that the pharmacy did not cancel the appointment in advance. I travelled over for this vaccination for nothing.

Pharmacist did not wear a mask when vaccinating vulnerable people in a small windowless room and clearly was not washing his hands between patients. When I challenged him on this he said he didn’t touch people to vaccinate them. The shop was very crowded and not social distanced and the other member of staff did not wear a mask either. I didn’t feel safe in there.
