Where to start? How about the recent incident? Called today at 2:30 to see if my script was ready for collection and was told yes by the person who answered the phone.
However, when I collect a full three and a half hours later, I was informed that it was going to take another hour for them to put it all together.
So, why am I told one minute that it's all set up and ready for collection, only to find that it hasn't even been started on? And this isn't even the first time thos has happened. Abysmal.
I’m a disabled man and I have regularly taken Zopiclone for many years as I have a lot of trouble sleeping. I went to Sheppards as I had run out accidentally. I asked the elderly lady behind the counter if I could buy antihistamines for sleep, and she was very dismissive and quite unkind. I had hardly slept at all for a few days and my practice pharmacist in London had advised the antihistamines. The elderly lady said ‘Well, the rules are different in Wales’, and her tone was quite rude, which I found offensive.
I won’t be going to this pharmacy again and I have told people I know in the local area where I stay in Wales about this, and they will avoid the company too. From now on, it’s back to Boots for me, where people are properly trained and more respectful.
Terrible experience with two staff members, Justine and Michelle. Their level of care to patients is abysmal. Apathetic, condescending and rude. This pharmacy used to pride itself on patient care and understanding however it now seems that patients and customers are a mere inconvience from staff members and are made to feel that they are a mere interruption their gossiping in the dispensary section. The phone is never answered and then when late in the day you manage to get through you are told that you should not come to the shop after 6 as its the emergency hour- more like the staff slacking hour as you then walk in to no other customers it being dead and them all stood doing nothing and talking, whilst speaking down to you like you are a child for daring to ask to come in during that time.
This place has become a joke since COVID, you'll be lucky to walk in and get anything prescription or simply a purchase in less than 5 minutes.
Today's experience, arrived at 13:00 queue out the door 13:10 finally got to the counter handed in the prescription.
The wait begins, people leaving saying they waited 30 minutes to pick up theirs.
You can literally watch staff doing prescriptions and putting them aside for people who aren't even in the store!
Priority is all wrong, people waiting should be dealt with first and people picking up at a later date/time second it's just basic customer service surely?
Even the store phone being constantly ignored, it was ringing almost the entire time I was there.
Anyway 25 minutes total time to pick up something that should take 5
The service here is we'll be low average with no thought given for customer service, I'm not sure if there are quicker pharmacies out there but this one is definitely not run at a standard I'd consider acceptable
This pharmacy has some of the most ignorant and incompetent staff that I have ever seen. Went to collect my partners prescription today, for items that were supposedly ordered by them 12 days ago. I was then told that they could not supply the order as it was out of stock with the ONE supplier that they used. Its clear that's they dont have the common sense or decency to try another supplier and that customer satisfaction is not in their jurisdiction!. If my partner can order these by posting his prescription direct to the supplier and have them delivered to our home within 48 hours, why can't they?. As a family of four with a disabled young person who is heavily dependent on medication, this pharmacy will be loosing out on thousands of pounds worth of business a year from us, as we shan't be doing ourselves the injustice of returning!
Been going to this branch of Sheppards for the llast 15 years but after today no more, I was outside at 9.00 this morning to drop off my Prescription only to wait until 9.10 for them to open even though there were many people inside just talking, by the time they did open the door there were 15 people outside waiting to get in, I then had to wait another 15 minutes inside waiting to hand my prescription in for collection later even though again there were many people standing around behind the counter just talking leaving just one person serving customers. I returned at 12.10 to find a queue outside and the staff were operating a 1 in 1 out system only no one was allowed in again I and many other customers had to wair outside. Eventually I did get to the door and a very rude person asked me what I wanted I told her I was picking up my medication after giving my name and address she slamed the door and I had to wait another 6 minutes before she returned to the door with a bag of medication and told me ther were a number of items owing and I would have to return in a few days to collect them when I told her this seems to be a regular thing she snatched the bag of medication back and said in a raised voice dk I want her to return all the items and I could go to another pharmacy I took my items back and asked for a missing slip she again slamed the door to return in a further 7 minutes with the slip. I have never ever seen such poor Customer Service in all my life and will never use this Pharmacy ever again once I receive my missing items.
So I called 111 on Saturday as Mt son had a ear infection turned up at 15.25 as told to, to find out the shop pharmacy is closed but opening and closing on Saturday us meant to be until 17.30 so closed at least 2 and half hours early and my son could not get his medicine until this morning. Not good at all
