Best KPortal Reviews

After witnessing a lot of hype on social media, I decided to try it. We were two people and ordered the Arabian Mix Shawarma and Half Roast Chicken. The presentation of the food is top notch. The meat in the Shawarma was tender and scrumptious and when eaten with the sauce and pickles was a heavenly experience. The only problem was that the Shawarma bread was very flaky so it could not hold the contents inside tightly and the chicken spilled out. The skin on the roast chicken was delicious but the inside, although very delicate, didn’t seem to carry the taste. The texture inside the chicken seemed a bit off. May that’s how it is traditionally but it was my first time tasting it this way. Definitely worth a visit.
Arabic Chicken Shawarma is recommended. Not sure if it is authentic as I’m not a local. In my opinion, it does taste great. As seen in the photo, generous amount of chicken and sauce in the wrap, not dry at all, even an extra tub of sauce provided. I actually enjoyed the flaky wrap as it adds texture and layers…unsure why some people complained about it haha. For the fries, it was crispy when we order and because we had to take away so it went soft…not the best but it's okay.

First time here and can say it lived upto the hype. Truly a hidden gem and must visit!
We got the Arabic mix sharwarma wraps which consists of a mix of chicken and lamb. This is served with chips and salad. We also got a margarita pizza to share on the side.
The wrap is cut into 5 pieces. They were full of chicken/meat with pickles inside them which was full of flavour. The wrap itself was very crispy and had a nice bite to it.
The salad/vegetables are pickled which made the meal even better. Gave the meal another flavour profile. Also, very unique as I've not come across a place that serves pickled salad. So if you like pickled salad/vegetables then you'd love it.
The garlic sauce is very creamy and smooth and the tomato ketchup they have is also ridiculously good.
Didn't expect much from the margarita pizza but it really took me back. Very soft and flavourful. As soon as it isbserved, you could smell the cheese and fresh dough. Would definitely get this again!
Overall, a hidden gem and a place I'll visit regularly.

Worst Shawarma I ever tried in my life.
Chicken smell so bad and test so bad, tomeah are bad too. Lam Shawarma are even worse than the chicken one I do not understand how they really call this place a shawarma restaurant.
I’m genuinly not sure how this place has so many good reviews.
When we entered (3 of us) we weren’t acknowledged. It felt very unwelcoming, wasn’t at all nice being ignored by every staff member.
We then proceeded to just find a table for ourselves and sat down. I had to ask for the menu for it to come. Anyways we finally ordered a full roast chicken, a falafel wrap and fresh orange juice.
The roast chicken seemed to look good on social media videos but in reality it was extremely bland. No taste whatsoever. Only good thing was it was at least tender and felt healthy. The chips were the more tasty part purely because it was had ‘red salt’ on it.
The falafel wrap wasn’t all great either, was more on the dry side. Also after we did get our food, nobody bothers to ask if we need anything else. I had to go up myself and grab plates and sauces as I couldn’t be bothered anymore to keep waiting for someone to notice us. The one thing I did enjoy was the fresh orange juice we ordered.
Overall was a let down.
Authentic Shawarma at its best. Fresh shawarma with generous garlic sauce (Best in the UK), wrapped in Arabic bread (Khubs) and Saj bread with pickles, perfectly toasted on the griddle.
I visit this place every time i am in Manchester for work.
Service is top notch, the guys serving there are very friendly and you can tell that they love serving food. Big shout out to this place. I have visited various Shawarma places in England, however this place reminds me of Dubai.
