We stayed in New Briggin for 7 nights and ate here twice. The food is plentiful and cost just right. Parking is plentiful on the quiet roads around. Thursday night is a set menu night if you wish to use it. Portions aren't smaller. If we lived nearer we would regularly visit. ALL the staff are extremely friendly and professional.
First time and last time. We got lamb jafrezi. Said spicy in brackets - zero spice zero flavour. Wish we had some mint sauce to give it some flavour. Were we unlucky? Sure feels like it. The pic is of my Thai wife adding some of her own spices to make it edible
First time here tonight will definitely be back: absolutely beautiful food I tried something different it’s my new fav! Great staff lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Lovely restaurant, always spot on. Really busy night tonight, full restaurant. But service great as usual.
This is the 2nd time we have been here. The first time our food was outstanding, but this time not so much. 2 out of 3 meals were rather bland and the 3rd overrun with chickpeas. The restaurant was really busy, so this may have been why, but we were a little disappointed after our first experience. However, we will have to go back to check this was a one-off.
My partner are here for the weekend,as we had only just arrived thought we would get a takeout. It was tasty and well cooked, it could have been a bit hotter(more chillies), I suppose usually having curry’s from Huddersfield we are spoilt for choice. None the less was very nice & enjoyed ????
The food is amazing. I went a month ago and I still think about it often! The pakora and chicken tikka masala here were the best I've ever had. The staff were also lovely.
Updated review: Went back several years later and it lives up to how I remember it and we keep talking about it. It was incredible and very reasonably priced. We had 3 mains, 3 naans, 4 starters, a side of rice to share and 3 drinks - for under £60.
The Korma was pretty below average and the bread was decent but even though I didn't have high expectations they still weren't met :/
