This is a lovely delicatessen at the top of my road that sells sweet and savoury things to eat. I am serving up some great coffee, too.
What a little gem of a deli Herne Hill has! Close to the station, delicious food and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Staff made delicious suggestions when I asked to try something different instead of choosing what I always order.
Our sons are keen mushroom finders and they were so happy to find The Fungus Among Us book to add to our collection. Til our next visit next weekend!
What a fantastic little local deli.
They have amazing food and all the little items you can't find in the supermarkets.
The staff were super helpful with me to try and find the things I was looking for to make my ramen tonight. Even though they were super busy.

If I have time to enjoy a creamy, delicious Cappuccino always, I prefer this coffee shop.
Delicious croissants, cakes, and a very good atmosphere around it.
My friend and I visited this delicatessen this morning to enjoy a cup of tea and a chat and we were treated so horribly we were made to feel uncomfortable and they seem to be an issue with us asking for a particular type of tea. Will never be returning there again, not too sure if it was because we were in casual wear or it was down to race, but we felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome in that business. My advice don’t go there if you’re black
Fab spot for lunch. Very welcoming and fantastic food. Went above and beyond and chucked in a treat for our dog and a hot chocolate on the house
I love Sesami! I have been coming here for over 10 years and have never had a negative experience. Every single member of staff are so lovely. They are polite, friendly and efficient! Sesami is a very popular and busy delicatessen and never fails me when I visit. It's one of my favourite places and the staff make it even better. Unfortunately I cannot reply to the most recent review from a lady called Josie because if I could I would. Josie said in her review that she posted on here on Monday (22nd April 24) that the staff were rude and you shouldn't come here if your black. What a funny thing to say as I am black myself. She was the most rude and disrespectful entitled women I've seen. I was in the shop when she was in there and the staff was not the problem she was. She was abrupt and very impatient yet the staff still handled her with grace. Luckly for her I was in a good mood and I decided not pull her up as she needs to have more manners. She was an awful woman and I think she forgot her manners up her nose. Anyway please come here if your black, white or orange with green spots as Sesami's staff do not care what you look like. ????
Such a lovely waiters allways on the best to help (blue shirt especially) , even when overloaded and very busy - will allways find little smile for customer.
Mainly this is the reason i m coming back again and again, the tasty cofee and BIODEGRADABLE &Compostable cups and very big choice of fresh bakery. ????????
