Sergio's Home Experience was by far the best meal we had while on our 2 week anniversary trip to Italy and Greece. The homemade wine was perfect too. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were entering an old friend's home. Bistra & Sergio were very welcoming and we loved playing with Leo too. Being a part of the cooking experience made it even better. I only wish I hadn't left the recipes. The sunset, the food, and the company was absolutely wonderful! Thank you!
Sergio’s Home Experience was easily one of the coolest vacation experiences I’ve ever had. Sergio and his partner (and their cute dog, Leo) are the best hosts!
Sergio gave us lessons on how to make a number of dishes:
- Eggplant Parmesan
- Ravioli (sausage & cheese)
- green beans with basil
- strawberry tiramisu
- potato gnocchi
Everything tasted amazing!
Sergio was such a kind host and was great fun to chat with. He is also a super talented wine and olive oil producer!

Sergio and his wife provided a delicious and fun finale to our Italian adventure. Their hospitality was beyond exceptional. (We booked last minute, then showed up early but they were more than gracious about my errors). He was very responsive to email and flexible.
The local and homemade wines and olive oil were heavenly. It was fun to cook with him and learn some great tips to bring home.
The dishes were fresh, creative and delicious! The highlight was eating on the balcony with the most fantastic sunset!
A MUST do if you are in the area. The best meal and experience possible for a very reasonable price.
Sergio is a great chef and teacher. We learned how to make and cook our own ravioli pasta and strawberry tiramasu. We also made a grilled zucchini dish that was great. Zucchini blossoms and stuffed peppers were also prepared and consumed.
Sergio has a wonderful house with a great view of the Praiano coast.
What an experience! We wanted to do a cooking class whilst on holiday and this was so much more. After being welcomed into Sergio’s lovely home my husband and I sat outside on the balcony and enjoyed the best view of the Amalfi coast we had seen whilst enjoying a home made aperol spritz. The cooking class itself was fantastic with the perfect balance of practical tips. Afterwards we enjoyed the stunning 4 course meal we had helped prepare whilst gazing over the water (probably best food of the trip). Thank you Sergio for what will be a lifelong memory!
Sergio’s home cooking experience was a 10/10! He was very welcoming into his home with a great view. We learned so much and it was one of our highlights on our Italy trip! The food we made was amazing and his knowledge with food and cooking was so awesome. Definitely will be doing this again whenever we come back!
(from November 2022) BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE! No need to look elsewhere! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sergio's cooking class! But to mention a few, first of all I had a little bit of trouble finding the exact spot of his home (Google Maps can be a little off). I contacted Sergio on WhatsApp with a picture of where I was and he immediately called me to let me know he was coming to get me. And I was early but he was still so gracious as to come and get me and bring me into his home while he finished preparing for the class. Sergio is such a kind and welcoming person with wonderful cooking talents! His home is beautiful with breathtaking views while you enjoy each and every DELICIOUS food course that you make with Sergio! And the excellent homemade wine just adds to the already perfect food! The food I had here was better than any restaurant around! My time spent cooking with Sergio was by far one of the best times I spent on my visit to the Amalfi coast! I would not hesitate in booking it again if I were to return to the area! Thank you so much, Sergio!
What a great experience & what a great time!!! Sergio was an amazing host, super kind and super hospitable. We took a taxi to his home and he was waiting out front to walk us to his home. He is very patient and super thorough on teaching you how to cook, with lots of good tips/tricks. He provides all the recipes for you to take home.
My wife and I had an amazing time, we made gnocchi, ravioli, eggplant Parmesan, zucchini blossoms and strawberry tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Sergio also provided an aperitif and continued to pour wine thru the night, which was his own wine he made - all natural. Overall great experience, highly recommend!!!
