Best KPortal Reviews
We had a delightful experience at Seoul GaJa. The staff were incredibly friendly, adding a warm touch to an already amazing dining experience. Their hospitality truly made the meal memorable. Highly recommended
I had pretty high expectations for this restaurant but I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the Kimji soup it was okay not the worst and also not the best nothing special. However, staffs are friendly tho and again they accept cash only.
It’s my first time to give one star. My first time to try this restaurant but the waiting time for food was unusual long. Seems they need to prioritise the take away orders first. Overall, the food was not worth of money. The powder for fried chicken was too thick but luckily, the sauce was still ok. It’s not the typical Korean restaurant. They will not serve you any appetizers like Kimchi, beans sprouts. Besides, they only accepted cash payment without official receipt(just wrote the amount on the paper). Not sure that it violated the law in U.K. since I was a tourist. We ordered four dishes and paid £66 for 2 persons. The portion of food was less than normal especially the meat. Not recommended for anyone.
Amazing food and amazing staff. I met some friends in Bristol and we craved some hearty Asian food, I rarely an disappointed at Korean restaurants. This place also looked like it was family run, making our experience that bit more special. Service was slow, but that was fine by us as we were not on a rush. The food is fairly priced too.
I must admit the 'cash only/ bank transfer' arrangement does make me speculate the honesty of earnings, though. We should all pay our way when it comes to tax!
Our first time trying Korean food; it was excellent! Portion sizes were great, good veggie/vegan options on menu. Staff were helpful in aiding in our dish selection. Tteokbokki was spicy but delicious, excited to have it again and return here!
It was terrible, and the food was very slow. Twenty minutes later, a seafood cake was served, and ten minutes later, a fried chicken was served. The fried chicken was still cold. I told her it was cold, and she said she would microwave it for me. So ridiculous!!!! Not recommended. The rice in Bibimbap is very soft, like water.
Korean food is one of my favourite cuisines. We don't have proper BBQ Korean place in Bristol which it would be a hit if anyone wants to open!
The food were amazing when I went they all super tasty, simple but perfect. If you like spicy food here's the place for you. We ordered A LOT; pork bulgogi, Dukbokki, pancake, spicy fried chicken and some extra kimchi.
I like the way good restaurant doesn't need to have extravaganza deco or building but just really good food.
O would recommend to get there early if you're looking for dinner time this place gets busy very quickly every night. Very reasonable price and staff is so lovely.
Chicken is halal according to the staff.
Beef bibimbap is good. Vegetables are fresh.
Kimchi is like home-made. Lovely.
Ambiance is like the small stalls in Korea.
Pay by cash or bank transfer only.
