A really nice find. Great service, very friendly and efficient.
The decor was a bit twee for my tastes but I have to admit it works with the space!
I had a really good crab sandwich. My wife had a vegetable tagine which looked and smelt very good and according to my wife tasted delicious.
Dog friendly, I can recommend Shelley’s for a nice lunch or afternoon tea.
Easily missed this place - I've walked past it so many times, but what an absolute gem of a place.
Coronation chicken with fresh coriander, sliced almonds and the most incredible sauce and toasted bread. Fresh, filling and super tasty.
Soup and cheese scone were incredible too- best cheese scone ever!
One of the few places you can go these days and get a really decent lunch for two for £20.
What a lovely cafe to relax in. Richard (the owner) is a very proud of the cakes he bakes and with good reason. In a peaceful courtyard, hidden away in Sidmouth this place is stumbled upon, or you know it's there. Relaxing, and complimenting perfectly the creative businesses that it is joined by around the courtyard, this is not a cfae to huury into and out of. Take your time, enjoy the music, people-watch, treat yourself to cake, breakfast or lunch with tea, coffee or wine and while away a couple of hours. You'll be very pleased you did ... and before you go, Richard will happily find a container for you to take 1, 2 (or more!?) slices with you.
Always a pleasure. Excellent home cooked food with love and flair. Charming atmosphere.
This is a lovely hidden little gem. Scones were absolutely delicious, homemade and warm with fresh cream and jam. The gentlemen who runs this was very friendly and attentive. I would recommend popping in!
Lovely little cafe that makes a killer bacon sandwich and great coffee. Richard the owner is a real diamond.
A really lovely space to sit and chill out over a great lunch. Even mother couldn't find fault with her panini! The brie and bacon tart in the next table looked amazing. Highly recommended.
Quint essential cafe tucked away in the heart of Sidmouth...great find‼️????‼️
