Absolutely banging pizzas,only place open for that time of night out of season but it’s the best takeaway pizza I have had in years!!! Better than Papa Johns or Domino’s. Me and the missus absolutely loved it,service was great and very quick,just what you need when parked up on the esplanade. Can’t comment on atmosphere cos it’s a takeaway!!
Food took a long time to be made, grubby horrible scabby shop. Orders burger, kebab and pizza was £44. Food portions are terrible and customer service couldn’t care when rang to explain about a tiny rubbish potion for a large kebab that was £15.
Save your money and go hungry is my opinion.
The chicken popcorn was really nice , made from real fresh chicken breast. Also the Mozzarella sticks amazing. Unfortunately the grilled minced lamb kebab was very burnt but after peeling it off it was very tasty ! So not reducing Stars . Also they unfortunately only take cash , maybe put a sign on the door so people know before they order .
It was the only place open on that day of the week so ordered chicken and chips. I have never encountered chicken like it. Initially hidden under the chips and salad it was a soft grey mound of goo. The (let's be charitable) coating was soggy and thick. I excavated further to discover more and more of the same. There was a chicken bone under it all. Absolutely disgusting.
Great kebab and service, chap in there was surprised to be salled Sir. Politeness goes a long way and he appreciated it.
Had a margarita and chips which the kids enjoyed. Service was great and the kebabs looked good while we were waiting.
3 stars just cause the guys were very nice and kind, but about the food...
For the pizza ok, we don't expect a Neapolitan pizza from a kebab shop, so let's say it was ok even if it was dreadfully greasy. Amongst the other burgers we have to say in 2022 there's a vast choice of meat-like hamburgers, why we still have to see fast foods putting the old disc of veggies into 2pcs of bread and call it vegetarian burger... Ok, it is what it is...
The very bad part is chips. We ordered a lot, we really love chips, and what we found was the flabbiness materialised in front of our eyes. Raw chips, many were still white, oily as hell of course, and by the way if you put hot food into a plastic bag it's obvious that everything gets droopy... We hope it was just a bad day about the chips, and that some improvement will be made in general...
While it might seem odd to post a gushing review of a kebab house, I feel that Seaton Kebab House deserves it! I moved back to Britain after five years living in the US and one of the first things I did was to have a kebab to remember my days spent in student towns. It was delicious—the meat is legitimately moist and tender, the sauces flavorsome, and the whole experience thoroughly satisfying. What I did not realize until a little later was how much better it is than almost any other high street kebab I can find in the UK! Wherever I go I am inevitably disappointed by an unflattering comparison to SKH. As a bonus, the shop is bright, cheerful, and immaculately clean, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and good-natured. No better place around for a late-night bite.
