Out of all the chip shops in all the world (well, Newport Pagnell) these folks do the best Fish n Chips barr none! Fish is always freshly cooked, batter is always light and crispy, not hard and crispy like some others, I always seem to eat too many chips too. If there were 6 stars I would give them that! Please don't ever leave/sell up!!
Very friendly staff and always freshly cooked. They keep just enough food so the wait isn't too long, and that the food doesn't sit for too long either.
Gravy and Curry sauces are a nice acomploment too.
Best Chip Shop in the area
Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Over-cooked, poor quality fish. Inedible. It use to be so good!
Lovely food but no Gluten free options for my son so we can't go there anymore.
Love this place. Not only do they serve a pensioner’s portion at a reduced price, they also do gluten free!
Not the greatest ..2nd time here bland fish very small for large fish and curry sauce was flour tasting attempt at Chinese curry sauce .give it a miss. Grange farm ASHs FISH N CHICKEN that's how to do fish n chips.exellent
Very friendly local chippy with good quality food. I always buy the medium cod as this is "bigger" than the large cod. (The large is actually heavier, so more fish, and looks bigger on the plate but is thinner so you get more batter to fish ratio whereas the medium cod, while smaller in length, is much fatter so you get a nice big wedge of pure, white cod!) :-) I also get curry sauce which is tasty and not too hot. Their chicken nuggets are also lovely as they are not conventional nuggets (mashed up insides) but more like Chinese restaurant, hand-made, chicken breast pieces in a tasty batter style coating.
Had fish and chips first time in ages it wasn't greasy, lovely fish, battered sausage actually tasted like a sausage and not sawdust
