Sanjee was very patiently and compasionatley handled our case from the start to finish. She took time to explain eveything very well. We are very greatful to have her as our solicitor conducting our court matter. We highly recommend Sanjee and her firm to anyone.
I engaged Sanjee Ganegoda for a family matter on a fixed fee basis in August 2023. Nothing was done in September whilst we waited for the other party to obtain advice. By November Ms Ganegoda asked for more money and refused to proceed. She then kept the money I had paid her on account without completing work she said she was ‘confident’ she could complete by Christmas.
In my opinion she is aggressive, vain, rude, arrogant, dishonest and a bully. In our first meeting before I asked if there would be a charge for that meeting with her and she said there would be no charge.
In her receipt she charged me £300 for the meeting she said would be free of charge. Also, she charged me £150 for postage and only sent one letter to the court that I never asked her to send.
Despite this being a consent order her attitude was adversarial. She has lied, intimidated, and threatened me when I complained about the unsatisfactory service.
I have complained to the Legal Ombudsman because her verbal and written advice was poor, the quality of her drafting was poor, and she didn’t complete the work as agreed even though she was paid. She made spelling mistakes in correspondence, syntax and grammatical errors which made understanding her written advice very difficult for me to understand and she used the wrong forms for a settlement by consent Form E not Form D81.
To gain my business, she advised me I would receive a substantial lump sum settlement and clean break, which she later denied advising. Despite paying her fees i have received neither. This is unprofessional and dishonest of her. Being with her has been a thoroughly negative experience and I would not recommend her as she is not competent in my opinion.

Sanjee is extremely rude, uncopertative and made an amicable arrangement between ex husband and wife very strained, actually made the situation far worse than it was a year ago before instructing her and paying 5,000 pounds to do a consent order and pension sharing arrangement which she still hasn't done and will not respond to my solicitor. DO NOT USE THIS SOLICITOR I AM REPORTING HER TO THE SRA
