Decent fish and chips but fish wasn't cod and notably very small, more like a fish bite. An overwhelmingly strange tense atmosphere like I didn't belong. I'd definitely return in the hope it was just a bad day as clearly it's very popular and that must be because they are usually good. This is review is based on one visit.
Unfortunately I couldn't spend my money at this business as it was cash only I did walk along the road looking for a cash point but nothing there I only had half hour break to take in work so didn't have time to drive to get cash out. So greggs it was after not what I wanted but it was food ????

Always fresh, tasty and well priced. 3 cod, a large chips and a large curry sauce feeds our little family of 3 for under 20 quid. Great stuff. Fish cooked to order in a lovely light batter. Lemon offered with the fish. Always friendly staff. My only wish is that they would take cards. I know there's a cost involved, but in today's world I find myself using the cashpoint just to get dinner here.
