I stumbled across the place while my wife was at a school reunion. It been many years since i tasted pie and mash with liquor. Must be at least 45 years . Now 73 this lunch transported me back to the 1960’s with my mum to Manzes pie and mash shop in Chapel market, Islington. London. It the best lunch I have had for a long time. WELL DONE Scott’s of Orpington .
Food was alright but the workers are very sneaky and judgmental there was a guy who came in and byeh ladies laughed at him and one in the women jd to bring the food to him and was judging him and when they got behind the till area both women laughed they are judgmental horrible women I wouldn’t go in there unless your ok being judged
I love traditional pie (double) , mash (single) & liquor washed down with a decent mug of tea. That's why I enjoy my visits to Scott's, my local Pie & Mash. Reasonably priced ' for less traditionalists the menu offers other stuff.

Lovely place to go for lunch time. Really friendly staff and very good prices.
Very tasty and delicious. Adding some vinegar and salt and you are ready to go. Services pretty fast..
Ordered my lunch from here today, and what an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and I forgot to order liquor to go with my pie, i only ordered the gravy.. I called the restaurant to see if I could add some on and the lovely woman I spoke to send me some free of charge! What a lovely little gesture, it made my day. The lady is a credit to your shop and you've made a loyal customer out of me!
Great pie and mash shop. Support this business they do a very good job, keep the tradition alive.
