Best KPortal Reviews
We had the absolute best breakfast experience today at Scotts Kitchen. The service was fantastic, and they were delighted to have us Canadian visitors. Be sure to order the English Breakfast as it is filled with gorgeous flavours steeped in tradition. Thank you so much for making us feel so at home. Cheers, Spicy Jan #Canadian, eh?
Best coffee shop in town, nice chic look of the place. Excellent selection of homemade cakes, carrot cake and victoria sponge were delicious, with still plenty other cakes too!
Savoury food was fresh and tasty too.
Baby friendly and really welcoming friendly owner. We will be back for sure. :)
I enjoyed supporting this small business with its variety of food on the menu and quality food with reasonable prices. Will definitely be visiting again.
On a positive note the cafe is furnished to a high standard and the service was good. We sat in the garden and had two coffees and a cake. My husband was tempted by the lovely display of cakes on offer but was so disappointed when he got his slither. It looked so much better than it tasted, he said it felt gritty and he didn't finish it. Definitely not worth £4.
Coffee was terrible. I ordered 2 flat whites and when it finally cooled down enough to drink it, I could see the cups were so full of milk that they definately lattes! The coffee was then so weak I could barely taste it. To top it off when I looked back at my receipt I had been charged £7.90 for 2 flat whites, even though the pricing board says £3.10 for a flat white. It was too late for me to go back, but I won’t be going there again. Very over priced for not nice coffee.
Love, love, love Scotts kitchen. The food is great & the service is fantastic, nothing is too much to ask.
This visit I tried The Stack & I loved it. Several pancakes, streaky bacon, Cumberland sausage & maple syrup. Don't just put the syrup over the pancakes, Put it on the sausage & bacon too, game changer.
Previously I've tried the smashed avacado on sourdough toast with streaky bacon which was also delicious.
Probably the most expensive cafe i've ever been in. £12.50 for a fry up. Croydon food at knightsbridge prices.
Have been here a few times to catch up with family and friends , the menu has a wide range of delicious meals and it’s reasonable ! Staff are very polite and service is ????!
