A lovely little pub in a rural location on the off skirts of st Austell. Only 5 minutes down the road from Menacuddle well. Staff were super welcoming and accommodating. A lovely Easter roast and the lamb was some of the best we’ve ever had! The staff even bought over a bowl of the roast beef for our 2 dogs which they loved and was such a lovely touch. We were amazed with how reasonably priced it all was! Amazing value for money, huge portions and would definitely visit again
Wonderful homely atmosphere, very warm welcome, beautiful rib eye and gorgeous Belgian waffles.
First time visiting. Sat outside in a marquis to watch our favorite Rock n Roll Band Play it Cool. We didn't eat, so can't comment on food. Pretty, quaint pub on outskirts of St. Austell. Worth a visit, but like most Pubs, Beer is pricey!

Friendly atmosphere in the Pub and was made to feel welcome. Traditional in appearance and felt homely.
Good choice on the menu, fairly priced. The three of us ordered a starter and a main. All excellent, tasty and delivered in good time.
Happy to highly recommend this pub and will call in again.
A small country pub in the middle of nowhere.
A very local feel when you enter, but everyone was friendly and the bar man was very helpful.
The kids meals were great, and of good size.
Beware of the chilli, its hot ????

Very welcoming and genuine Cornish pub a short distance from the Wheal Martyn Museum on the edge of St Austell's historic clay country.
We dropped in for Easter Sunday lunch and enjoyed the excellent lamb and beef roasts by the fire.
Undisputed charm, friendly and a must visit when in the area.
Very welcoming and friendly, proper Cornish pub with a nice warm fire. We both enjoyed a good lunch and for me one of the nicest veggie burgers I've had in a pub. Tribute and Proper Job on the pumps what could go wrong ????
