Been here a few years ago food was OK but after hearing positive things about this pub,
Thought I would give it another go. I certainly wasn't disappointed I chose the steak and kidney pudding with new potatoes and veg, veg was on a separate plate on your plate don't know what that's about.
It also comes with a separate jug of gravy
The pudding was full of succulent meat no fat, it just fell apart when I cut into it. My wife had thick cut Ham Egg and Chips.
Can honestly say that the steak and kidney pudding was the best I've had.
Enjoyed it so much that I've booked my retirement party meal with them.
And I've also heard from work colleagues that their Sunday roast is something else as well.
High recommend.
Had a meal here this evening was absolutely delicious. We had lasagne it was nicely presented tasted gorgeous. I would recommend coming here. Staff were lovely and friendly and attentive. Nicely priced too really enjoyed our meals. If passing pop in you won’t regret it
A family meal to celebrate a 60th birthday. Really impressive service, great food, good value and ambiance. They went out of their way to help with cakes and decorations etc and super dog friendly! Would highly recommend.
The Saracen's Head was a nice pub. It wasn't very busy but the staff were pleasant.
We was on our way to another place, but it closed early. We will try it another time.
Please try The Saracens's though, as you will never know what it's like.
They have two lovely dogs behind the bar who are very friendly with kisses. They love playing.
We really enjoyed the food. As a vegetarian the nut roast dinner was most welcome. We arrived at 1.30 and as it was so busy had to sit in the shop area, which was very cosy. Despite the busyness the staff were very attentive and it was a very nice experience.
Wonderful Sunday lunch. Melt in the mouth beef, lovely veg and crispy Yorkshire puddings, all along with friendly staff. Will deffinately be returning.

I thought it was all very good, the staff very efficient and friendly especially Phil, he's exceptional.
