Sam Fedele is a really special place. Primarily a wine bar but with amazing meat and cheese boards, you will be blown away by the friendly owners John and Paula. This couple make your visit really special, they are so warm and make you feel like a very welcome guest. John has family connections with San Fedele in Italy and regularly visits for inspiration and to source products.

It’s so nice to be given tailored advice on the best wine for what you fancy that day, everything is available by the glass and is affordable - very rare these days.

Please go and visit this hidden gem, take a seat outside on a warm afternoon or enjoy the vibes inside - but leave a seat for me! Xx

What an absolutely beautiful, quaint place in West Kirby. John has done an amazing job providing the best Italian wine bar experience with San Fedele. Wonderful inviting decor & atmosphere that makes you feel instantly comfortable and at home. The wine & beer are also the finest Italian selections that perfectly compliment the sweet deli cheese boards. Thank you John!

Lovely deli, my wife and I had a two person sharing board. Italian wine was fantastic. Was brilliant to be able to sit outside in the warm weather and when the lights came on later it was a great atmosphere.

Great little wine bar with excellent wine and beer choices. Didn't eat there (had already booked elsewhere), but sharing boards looked amazing. Will definitely be back to try one.

My girlfriend and I have been to San Fidele about 20 times and we have always a great experience; John is very passionate about what he does and that shows on his service and his staff, always very attentive and polite, it doesn’t matter how busy they are the place is immaculate. The wine and beers choices are excellent and I’m some cases unique as some of the beverages they have you can’t find nowhere else (at least in the NW) I would highly recommend this place to anyone reading this review, 10 out of 5 stars ????????

We came all the way from Norway with friends and had a splendid lunch and sunny afternoon here. John and Paula were so nice and welcoming. We had a a plate of Italian cheese, prosciutto and some terrific mortadella.

Together with a tasty Sicilian Grillo white wine, you couldn’t get closer to Italy!

Amazing venue with such polite and knowledgeable staff. Great wines and food, and such nice small touches. Will definitely visit again.
