Best fish and chips I've had.
The owner is always really kind!
There on Monday evening. And an impartial review. This haddock and chips was nothing short of perfection, some chips had bite while others that bendy texture with nutty flavour
Fish batter was crisp with deep flakes soft moisture filled flank . Do not leave fish wrapped for too long, eat quickly and do not leave in packaging .
I also note this establishment feeds a local charity from time to time called Cantraybridge college with awesome portions compared to the local dolphin Chip shop 200 yds away, which if you visit yourself you will see. Great food , just tiny portions .
I am a traditional man, and miss traditional fish and chips, not anymore though as Salt and Vinegar Chip shop In Nairn have my business , they understand quality and not quantity!
The lad who served us was fantastic and should be proud of himself , and the lady who I believe came out to provide our food was the owner . The owner is the epitomy of a loving mother feeding her kids.
First visit is 11 / 10.... Super proud to have this fish and chip shop 2 minutes from a beautiful beach, and 15 minutes from my house!

Lovely staff but fish and chips were dire. Fish has continued to stink out car next day. Chips were disgusting.
We’ve had several meals delivered from here when staying in Nairn, and can’t recommend it highly enough. Friendly pleasant staff (both in the shop and delivery staff) and extensive menu. Fast delivery. Lovely fresh fish with crispy batter, and the chips are fantastic. Pensioner portions are very generous and prices very reasonable. We’ll be back!
One of the tastiest fish and chip experiences... certainly in my top 5. Quality, quantity and price all spot on, chips could have been better but that would be nit picking...,, staff super efficient, great fresh, tasty fish with a lovely batter.
On holiday in Nairn and came across this fantastic fish & chip shop near to the apartment that I was stopping at. Freshly cooked meals. Wide choice to order. Staff very friendly. Always a smile on their faces. Recommend very highly for those resident in nairn as well as visitors to the town.
