Discovered the Saffron Restaurant while having a walk, decided to check it out, I knew nothing about Persian food, Ali and Christian (waiters) were all the time very welcoming and the owners very charming and took time to explain almost every dish, felt like home. Till next time.
Woow ! Very delicious persian food! This restaurant definitely offers the best Iranian food in Marbella ! I ate here three nights and enjoyed the taste of the food every night. Tonight I ordered mix grill for four people. The shishlik was very very tasty and perfect grilled, the Chenje and koobideh and Joojekabab was very tasty.
The rice with saffron was also very good ! I strongly recommend this restaurant
غذای بسیار خوشمزه ! این رستوران در ماربیا یقینا بهترین غذای ایرانی رو ارائه میده ! من سه شب اینجا غذا خوردم و هر شب از طعم و مزه غذا لذت بردم . امشب میکس گریل سفارش دادم برای چهار نفر . شیشلیک بسیار خوش طعم و خوب گریل شده بود ، چنجه و جوجه کباب و کوبیده بسیار خوشمزه بود. برنج هم عالی بود. همچنین ماست موسیر که خیلی خوب بود ! شدیدا توصیه میکنم این رستوران رو !
We missed persian food, & after googling we found this nice place nearby, we settled in & ordered must musir, koobideh and mirza ghasemeli..
The food was fine except for the Mirza Ghasemi which smelled rancid and tasted unpleasant.
After one bite we decided its not edible, thus we asked the waiter to remove it.. upon receiving the bill we inquired politely why were we charged for it? ..but that young cranky waiter replied : (you should know that that's how it goes in western restaurants, when you order it in here you pay for it)
A very taunting comeback, that was so rude and uncalled for.
Hence I am reviewing this restaurant poorly for bad service.
The place to go in Marbella for authentic Persian food. Highly recommend the Momtaz, Chicken Wings & Mirza Ghasemi, mind blasting good. Great service and portion sizes. Can’t wait to come back for more.
