My daughter has only been riding here a couple of weeks and I am so happy with her progress. The riding school ponies are kind natured and extremely safe giving her the confidence to really build on her passion for horses. Today, we both went on a lovely hack together, something we have never done before but we will definitely continue doing. Thanks to the instructors for making available such fun and parent/child friendly half term events.
*** THIS IS A GENUINE REVIEW*** I highly recommend these stables. Having taken my daughter here for the last 2 years I can honestly say that Emma & Lauren run these stables to a very high standard. All the horses are well looked after and I have no problem in recommending this place to you. They are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming and I suggest you make a visit to the stables to see for yourself. The pics are my 4 year old daughter trotting and being looked after by the staff.
I had seen the reviews before I went but I also read their explanation and knowing animals, it felt perfectly reasonable. I did go in with my eyes open though and I have to say they were really good. I saw absolutely nothing that alarmed me. They knew the right horse for my ability and knew their horses personality. My teacher was really good and patient and fully explained everything. I will definitely be going back and would urge anyone not to just look at the negative reviews
Went for an hours hack for the fist time in 43 years. It was fantastic, I was a bit nervous to start but Sam was a brilliant horse. Lauren was a brilliant with me what a lovely young lady, very patient good to talk to. And what a lovely setting, shame about the rain. Would highly recommend saddington riding stables.
My daughter has been riding at with saddington now for approximately 6 months and all I can say is wow, my daughter has built confidence and shown care and genuine love for these animals. During Easter she went on pony day where she was shown how to care for the ponies including mucking out, grooming etc she also managed her first canter, well done saddington and to Lauren and the team ????
Been here for around 2weeks now stabling my horse.
Management are great and very helpful.
The price and facilities are Fantastic, miles and miles of hacking to do!
I’m also having lessons with Emma, as my horse needs some schooling work. She is wicked and has great knowledge and my horse is already showing a massive improvement in his schooling.
The yard run loads of different events for the young kids, from Halloween party’s, pony days, show jumping days, own a pony for a day and loads more.
Having just seen the most recent review I felt that I had to leave a more accurate review myself. Having used the riding school for a number of years I can honestly say that I have always had a brilliant experience and that the Owner of the riding school is nothing but patient, always put the animals first and has given my daughter the confidence that she lost from a previous riding experience elsewhere and has made riding enjoyable for her again. I would recommend the riding school to anyone that was looking to get back into or start riding and the 5* star license that is displayed on the walls around the riding school clearly speaks for itself!
As a qualified BHS AI, and having owned horses for over 35 years and worked in the industry for over 25, this establishment shouldn’t be allowed near a goldfish - much less any other animal after the leaked video of not only abuse, but incredibly dangerous behaviour that they not only find acceptable. But have excused! Avoid these guys. With any luck investigation will lead to closure for the health and safety for not only the horses in their car, but the safety of riders after the video shows they really don’t care about either!
Edit to say that people that go there are approving of the abuse and condoning it clearly shows that this is regular occurrence, so much so that it is not only accepted as the norm, but taught that it is right. Frightening
