An incredible place. I had a steak with lentils, plantain and an empanada. Genuinely the best steak I've ever had, and for £13 great value. Bizarre how good the food is for such a tiny, hidden away little place.
Yesterday it was my first time eating Colombian food and I really enjoyed it. The dishes are authentic, made from scratch and are good value for money. £13 for soup, main and a drink is good value for money.
Great little authentic Columbian restaurant that does a very good value £13 set menu which includes soup and main and drink. The soup was especially good! Homely vibe that totally reminds me of Colombia - you could easily forget you're in London!
I am Colombian and hoped this would be an excellent Sunday lunch but turned out to be exactly the opposite. Service is painfully slow and disorganised. I understand dishes may not arrive all at the same time but it took them ages to bring mine (my friends were nearly done with theirs when my tamal arrived and they forgot my drink).
Now, the food... I know I can't expect it to be exactly like in Colombia but this is honestly the worst tamal I've had in my life: bland, dough wasn't fluffy, huge chunks of potato, only meat was chicken and to add insult to injury, they serve it without the leaves!!! Most unappealing tamal ever.
The beef soup was also bland and so greasy I only ate the meat after I took it out. And they charged me £6 for that mess ????
I had initially ordered a set menu (soup, main, drink) but then changed my mind and went for the tamal, the lady then asked if I still wanted soup but never mentioned it would be charged as an extra with the tamal. My friend was also charged extra for a juice she ordered thinking it was included but again, no mention from the waitress and no way for us to know since they don't have the menu/prices printed or on a board.
I like supporting Colombian businesses bu-t sadly I won't be returning to this one and would recommend you to avoid it. There are much better options in London (and at the same prices!).
Amazing service, food and I feel prices are fair. I'm visiting from Canada and wherever I'm back in London I'll be visiting Sabor Latino.
Little hole in the wall Colombian place selling home style cooking at crazy-low prices. Your classic carne con arroz, frijoles y ensalada but also good soup and empanadas. Thumbs up from me.
Yesterday I went there to get some food as I have bean there many times and always bean good but of recent quality of food gone bad yesterday I got the set lunch menu 13 pounds with chicken soup and rice and beef chicken in soup was hard like a stone not eatable same with beef hard rough you could chew it 100 times and still won’t brake I will be bringing the food back and demand my money back very disappointed I would advice everyone to stay away from there looks to me like they buy the cheapest ingredients and making extra profit matter more to them than food quality and the satisfaction of a coustomer I am a chef myself and I try to cook the beef a bit more in order to see if I could save it that’s why is in pieces but originally was in one thin slice
The food is delicious! I took home their pulled pork sandwich- it was so fresh and flavorful.
