As a transplant patient, I try to be as amiable as possible to be in as little contact with people as possible for my low immunity, so i always try to call ahead to ensure my medicine is available before i approach the place. They do not answer their phones at the best of times, God forbid you need to reach them as an emergency. The previous owners used to be very nice and helpful however I have found that the recent staff are very unfriendly, disagreeable and rather obnoxious. All the staff I have engaged with will offer you service very belligerently.They are my only medical service that makes things so difficult for me, and they are also very unapologetic about this appallingly unhelpful behaviour, if you can help it, save yourself the trouble of using them, find another chemist.
Edit: The pharmacy have changed the telephone etiquette on responding to calls since my initial teview. I also found out that they offer a delivery service meaning i don't have to be in contact with too many people, which is appreciated. When people are willing to address an issue and fix it, that is a very good sign. ????

Edit: after leaving the review I got a call from the pharmacy, treating me to not offer me their service anymore if I did not remove the review.
Second time that I order my prescription with one week notice, to not be delivered, need to call and remind them. Line is always busy, or rings and no one pick up the phone. I was complaining over the phone and the man staff hung up on my face! I am 9 months pregnant and not the kind of stress needed at all! If you can deal with a bigger demand you should a let be honest upfront and not say that the prescription would be here in 3 working days.
I am somewhat reluctant to leave as a negative a review as I am about to because they are my regular pharmacy and I don't want to damage relations with them as I have regular contact with them because of having multiple conditions and needing to have my dosect boxes made up. The first is is not being open at weekends which is really inconvenient the next is, as noted by others, they oftern shut before the advertised closing times. My next issue is the major one. I have profound memory problems and they sometimes get my meds wrong, which if I didn't have someone to look over them could be very serious. They also fairly often don't make the boxes up in time. And if I miss a couple of doses I can have a seizure.
They service is iftern rude and unfriendly but if everything else were fine this would not be a problem. I only really stick with them because of transport issues. If you can go elsewhere.
My local pharmacy, which is next door to the health centre. They provide my repeat prescriptions and the staff are excellent.

I notice there are mixed reviews, however, when I was in need of urgent medication SVR Chemist gave me good advice; I then phoned the hospital who are treating me and they responded immediately. I should have been on certain medication already but someone along the line failed me and the chemist cannot step in at that point so they gave me good advice. Within the hour SVR was at my door, with a smile, delivering the much-needed medication.
