Professional and honest! A different garage tried to overcharge me by recommending unnecessary work, and STC very kindly told me I didn't need it doing, rather than charge me for unneeded work. The remaining work they did quick and to a high standard, for a reasonable price.
This is a garage that you can trust.
Feel absolutely ripped off! Was quoted “around £150” for a service. Went ahead with it. Turned up to pay and was asked to pay £75 more than quoted for a service!!! When I questioned this with Andrea her attitude completely changed. She became rude and short handed. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of them adding unexpected sums onto bills. AVOID!!!!
Without shadow of a doubt and by far the best garage I have used for my repairs on my vehicles. I came across STC Services when looking for help with issues I was having with my VW Transporter. I used this vehicle as my business vehicle so it was my everyday drive. It had a warranty from the garage that I purchased it from but the work that they were continually having to carry out was just poor to say the least.
I came across STC as someone had recommended them on a Facebook group I was on and even the owner Steve replied to me. Conversations started and from my explanations over the phone what the issues were that I was having with my van they were quickly able to identify the problem. They had my van in to diagnose and confirm the issues and carry out the needed repairs. At this point I was not convinced I would ever be successful as the van had been in to three different garages before hand. Anyway the repairs were done and in one visit. I paid for these repairs but considering they were done professionally and without any delay it was well worth it.
Ever since this one job I have taken all three of my business vehicles to STC Services and our personal family car for any repairs, services, tyres or MOTs as I just know it is always going to be in safe hands and the work will be done and done to the highest of standards.
The team at STC are real credit to the company from the team of mechanics right up to the receptionist / administration lady.
I won't try anywhere else again as there is just no need to. Trustworthy companies like STC Services are very hard to come by and even though they are an hours drive from my house their garage makes this well worth the drive and the time.
You certainly will not be disappointed !
STC were brilliant.
Car was in for a new clutch - as diagnosed by the main dealer. The garage was competitively priced, the staff were polite and professional communication was excellent and they could deal with the repair in a timely manner. Most importantly they did not charge me for a whole new clutch plus dual mass flywheel which they originally quoted for. The mechanic realised it was a simpler and cheaper problem and so charged me a lot less than he could have done. I was very pleased with such honesty and integrity.
Excellent experience again after using this garage for a second time today. Full service carried out on an old diesel Vauxhall Zafira. Great attitude and customer service.

Incredible service from an expert team. Went well beyond being a good garage - saved our family holiday by working hard and fast to sort out problems with a VW campervan. Highly recommended - really grateful to the whole team who are all really knowledgeable, friendly and delivered amazing results
I was quoted 230 excluding VAT for a thermostat and coolant temperature sensor replacement, operation that shouldn't take longer than 2 hours, I dropped the car at 09:00 am as requested and picked it THE SAME (hopefully, apart of a plastic clip broken on the left headlight cover, that made it flexible at all times and a piece of rubber with unknown provenience found in the fuel tank cap compartment) as I dropped it at 16:30 pm with an invoice of 401 due to be paid!
No warranty for labour, no warranty for parts replaced, no warranty the connectors were put back and NO SUGGESTIONS or advice how the issue can be fixed! The temperature gauge remained unmovable on the lowest temperature when I left the workshop and no proofs the radiator fan starts if the engine gets hot!
