I've lived in the ripponden area for around a year now and have visited all the local coffee places. I have to say this is by far the best. They use North star coffee which is really tasty and pretty much the perfect brew for me personally. I always get an oat milk flat white and it always tastes great, very consistent.
I've also had the Welsh rarebit which is really tasty and made with a proper cheese sauce. I know they also do soups and other food options but I haven't had the chance to try these yet.
The staff are all really friendly and you can tell they're passionate about the place and the coffee and food they're serving.
If you're a music lover they also offer a wide range of vinyl to browse through (they also always have a record playing throughout the day so you'll hear a lot of new and different music in a visit there)
Really great little gem in ripponden.
Enjoyed a cool drink and homemade cake here today, staff very friendly and helpful. Good to see and hear the records being played .. sound quality was great and not as I remembered it! Will be back!
Nothing is enough trouble for this warm and welcoming couple. Their knowledge and broad musical taste is second to none and Neil’s tales of being in Puressence and life on the road, always entertaining. Not to mention Barbara’s exceptional culinary skills. Wonderful place that I hope never leaves ????♥️
Spotted this little gem on my bike the other day so when I saw the sign saying coffee I thought I’d best pop in. Greeted with a pleasant smile and the sound of music. An americano and fruit cake was quickly ordered and I sat on the bar stool watching my bike. Highly recommend this place for a sound of music, coffee and cake ….
Had a lovely meeting this week ,in a lovely little cafe in the heart of rippendon - Ryburn records . I highly recommend the hot choc and homemade cakes delish ???? .
I called in here for coffee and cake and it was a great experience! I had a lovely flat white with beans from North Star coffee roasters in Leeds, alongside a delicious homemade slice of chocolate Guinness cake. The atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable and the staff were very friendly and engaging.
Great quality used and new vinyl. All used records professionally cleaned. Amazing quality coffee and homemade cakes. Great personal service too.
First time here today lovely shop and great conversation
