We contacted Russell and Co for help with Child Arrangements. While the work was successfully concluded, it was done with several needless complications increasing the stress of an already stressful situation, not to mention the cost.
In particular
- Russell & Co served Court paperwork to the other party while our child was present at their residence, risking a potentially hostile situation. This was despite informing them ahead of time of the times to avoid.
- Russell & Co failed to record the delivery of important documents to the other party, leaving us uncertain and unable to prove receipt.
- Russell & Co failed to respond to questions or provide updates in a timely fashion (gap of 1 month) costing us the buffer time leading up to our court date.
- Signed paperwork was further lost for 3 weeks, leaving us dangerously close to the court date
- Basic information necessary for the final paperwork was requested literally the day before the case (there had been months to get this done)
I would encourage people to avoid their child arrangement services, and by extension the practise as a whole.

We used Russell and Co following the death of our father. Having never had to deal with the probate process, we needed a company that knew what they were doing and would guide us through the process. We had a single point of contact even though we worked with multiple solicitors. Without exception, everything was dealt with in a professional and sensitive manner and the costs at each stage of work were transparent. As a result of the experience that we have had, we are now using Russell and co for other legal work that we have.
Helped us to sort out probate on our fathers estate. The team at Russell's were great at sorting out an awkward estate at a difficult time. Really knowledgeable and efficient. Would certainly recommend them and use them again.
