Well what can I say? Attended to ask advice around tyres, which was straight forward and without any obligation or charge. Ordered a set and booked in for tyre change and service.
That's where the adventure began!
I planned to leave the bike with Graham and collect later in the day, but No! I was quickly offered a chair and a brew, plus offered the chance to see a master at his work.
Graham explained everything he was doing, so that in future I could complete this complicated task myself (no chance!).
By this time I had taken both Grahams' and Jess' morning up, plus there was a queue of other customers waiting for the 'Paul Daniels' of the motoring world to work more magic.
Riding home safe and in the knowledge of a job well done, was the other fact that 'Rubber Meets Road' is the absolute opposite of 'Money Makes the World Go Around'.
Thank you I wont go anywhere else from now on.
Graham gives great service. I phoned in advance requesting the fitting of two bike tyres. We agreed a time. He took both wheels off and fitted the tyres I'd purchased myself. All took about an hour. I'm very happy with the job done. I recommend him now to every biker. Be aware he only takes cash or BACS transfer.
Nice guy, fair helpful and swapped my tyres over sharpish, what's not to like. And motorbike repairs he does those too. ????
Took my Suzuki 650 Bandit in for a full service today getting ready for summer. Graham and his mechanics are very knowledgeable and, with this being my first road bike, they were more than happy to pass this knowledge on, showing me things to keep an eye on for safety and maintenance. As the bikes been stood for a long time before I bought it, this is exactly what I needed to know. Very honest and no bull which, is exactly what I want from a motorcycle mechanic. Graham also does bike recovery and stays till the jobs done so, a very handy guy to know. Will definitely be taking my bike back for any work.
I won't take my bikes to any other place. This is a hidden gem of a bike workshop. I've been going to Graham for about 2yrs. Quality guy. Quality workmanship. Quality service. 100% recommended.
Had two tyres done here for my bike at short notice, good pricing, would recommend!
I rang up on a whim as I wanted a short notice tyre change; my wheel was taken in, tyre off, new tyre on, bearings checked and wheel weights done, all within 10 minutes! Fantastic service, wouldn't go anywhere else after that!
Rubber Meets Road Saved me on Saturday Night:
I overfilled my bike with oil, and when at Rivington Service Station, my bike started bellowing white smoke. The AA arrived and stated there was nothing that they could do, they took 3hrs to get me a response van that could transport a motorbike. As a result of this, I could not get to a garage until 6pm. I phoned around a couple of local garages at 530pm and Graham from Rubber meets Road answered, his place was only 1.5miles away and the AA could only get me there by 630pm.
Graham had agreed to wait for me with his mechanics, and said he was willing to work on the bike if it was resolvable on the same night, which was an absolute life saver for me to be able to ride-away with my bike back in full working order. Graham and his team of mechanics, managed to use suction injector to reduce the oil level and add an additive to clear out any excess residue.
After all of this and waiting for me until 630pm (on a Saturday night) with his guys and fixing the bike, Graham only charged me for the time he worked on the bike which took him less than one hour. I could not of been happier with the service I received from Graham and his team. They are definitely a great bunch of mechanics, passionate about bikes.10/10 for customer service: Professional, courteous and extremely friendly.
