My regular(and excellent) mechanic referred my VW Golf R to Ryan with a nightmarish alarm problem that was beyond the scope of even good diagnostic equipment. rps Motors obviously has diagnostic equipment to VW main dealers level, as he was able to pinpoint the problem down to an internal motion sensor. This was replaced, and then successfully coded in via the internet. All in no time at all, and at a fair price.
If your VAG group car has a complex electrical problem that is seemingly impossible to sort out, I can recommend Ryan at rps Motors.
Almost 200 miles away from home and the alternator on my van decided to give in. Practically stranded with limited options (Breackdown Recovery can take a while reaching remote locations!), I googled auto mechanics and RPS Motors was the closest so I limped my VW T4 there. At 9:30am in the morning the garage was understandavbly busy with bookings but Ryan was polite and took the time to diagnose the fault. Fortunately they were able to get a replacement part delivered and after explaining my situation they were able to get me back on the road the same day! Absolutely amazing service from Ryan and the team
I can’t begin to explain my experience with this ‘Audi Specialist’ I contacted them for a few issues with my Audi S4 and was told there was a 4 week wait so I waited. It went into the garage on Monday this week, didn’t here a thing off them for 3 days so I called them this morning only to be told that one of the faults an oil leak will have to be booked back in. After 4 weeks waiting to be told that. The other faults he had said are normal, they’re not as my friends S4 doesn’t have them and another fault he didn’t even check as he didn’t write a single thing down when I spoke to him. I’ve walked an hour to pick up my car after work in the rain and got in the car and to top it all off the battery is now completely dead. I’m now waiting outside a garage that was supposed to fix my car for breakdown assistance. Avoid this company…..
To add to this I want to raise the previous reviewers point that my car didn’t have any issues with the battery or charge when it went in so it came away from him having done nothing and in a worse state!! Terrible experience
Great work always by Ryan and team German car specialist for service and all work required.
Ryan absolutely knows his stuff. I moved from main dealer post-warranty and feel I get a much better standard of service at a much more realistic price.
Sorry to say was so disappointed with the service and excuses for just not bothered to do the job right. Won't go into technical details but as I am an engineer and know he was talking rubbish, I spent £70 to have my car back worse than when it went in. Had to wait to get it back in for another look and after leaving it with him for a day he did nothing as he said it had worn parts, of course it did not have these when he was taking my money, only when it was unpaid to correct the poor work done in first place. Don't fall for his excuses and get a second opinion.

There a great garage, very polite, very helpful, I'm hoping they fix my car today as it's the second time it's been there with the same problem, I will leave true and honest account of my experience
