Me and my family visited the Royal Oak last Sunday,and had a very pleasant experience. It was reasonably busy, but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were seated quickly and promptly ordered 5 roast dinners, including a vegetarian option. The food arrived surprisingly quickly and was served very hot on warm plates ( my bug bear getting warm food on cold plates!!) The beef was very tender and tasty, the potatoes delicious, yorkies fantastic and lots of freshly cooked vegetables. More than enough food!!! We all ate to our content and enjoyed it thoroughly. We will definitely be back and good to see a local privately owned pub doing really good food at a good price with lovely staff!!!
Nice lunch everything was fresh baguettes were loaded with filling. sides good size for sharing. Bar staff very pleasant welcoming.

Myself and my family visited the Royal oak a few sundays ago and it was by far the best roast I’ve had in a long time- maybe even ever! Staff were friendly and the service was good:) food portions were big and absolutely delicious! Reasonably priced also which is always a bonus! Will definitely be visiting again soon!
Had lovely lunch here today with my sister and mum for mum's birthday 93yrs young. Very chilled atmosphere and had time to chat catch up and have a laugh ????
What a lovely place. After trying 2 previous pubs which were closed, we found this one. What a gem. Will definitely be back. Lovely staff and what a friendly pub. Can be quite rare these days. Lovely food too.
Just had a delicious Sunday roast at the Royal Oak, food was amazing. A lovely village pub, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere. Would Definitely recommend.

Just started up food again recently, new chefs, new owners and very top service. The food is amazing, the burgers are juicy and delicious, the chips are filled to the brim with potato and the brownie desert is beautiful. I highly recommend this place soo much! Good to help local businesses too????????
