I had Roast chicken (leg) + veg thoroughly enjoyed it with a black coffee. Didn't have to wait long either. Staff very attentive. Also, the first time ever I've been in a café and was given a proper knife which cut beautifully it was a delight. Sick to death of being given a blunt knife in the past. I usually carry my own but didn't need to get them out for the first time ever. Next time I'm in Dagenham I won't go anywhere else other than Rosie Lee.

First time in this café. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the prices. The portions were generous as well. With friendly staff and ample seating, I'd definitely recommend this place. Check it out!
An excellent café in Dagenham, Essex. Serving a full menu including all day breakfast. The place is absolutely pristinely clean and tidy, kitchen, dining room and toilet. One of few English Cafes you visit and don’t leave smelling of smokey bacon fat. The food was very good quality (the only criticism would be the sausage which was typical cafe type) the rest of the ingredients were superior quality to other cafes. There was no grease on the plates either, looked like a meal cooked at home. Our waitress, Alba, was lovely. She was friendly and accommodating. The price was great too at £10.60 for two people.
Can’t fault this place, would definitely visit again.
The food and service here is 10/10. One of my favourite cafes ever. Everything is so tasty from the eggs to the bacon and they know how to cook it just right.
