Rose bank Cottage:
Exceptionally well presented cottage and very spacious inside. Large enclosed rear garden to relax in also. All the rooms are very clean and tidy. New bathroom recently fitted which indicates the owners truly care about the property and the comfort for their guests.
Only a few yards away from the beach too and lots of places to walk.
A great place to fully relax and unwind in a little bit of paradise.
Rosebank Cottage - We and our dogs enjoyed a lovely relaxing week at this lovely cottage. It is welcoming, well equipped, clean and full of thoughtful homely touches. Very safe enclosed massive garden.
Well priced and the owners leave a great starter pack of fresh eggs, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar and milk plus a generous box of treats for the dogs.
A very busy cottage to try and book which speaks for itself.
Mixed weather but if you enjoy a peaceful walk on a beach (in any weather) you only have to cross the road. Beautiful area to explore and relax in and although nowhere in the village to eat out Drummore has a few good places to choose from and Sandhead has a lovely restaurant.
Recommend a visit to Logan fish pond "originally the Laird's larder" for a short visit to somewhere a bit unusual and the views around it are stunning.
We stayed as a family of 3 with 3 dogs (2 X large, 1 X small), I appreciated the goodies left for the dogs, three of each item to stop them arguing ????
The dogs loved been close to the beach, which is usually quiet.
The dogs also loved the secure garden.
I like the facilities of the cottage which had everything I would need to cook home cooked meals. Handy having a dishwasher!
Only thing I would change would be to add blackout blinds in the bedrooms as it let all the light through with a street lamp been outside the front of the property.
The sofas are lovely and comfy but not very deep, a couple of footstools would be brilliant, just my opinion, not an issue in though.
Our second time here and even better!! A brilliant conversion of a traditional cottage with plenty of space - 3 bedrooms with modern facilities
Gorgeous beach mind you to many jelly fish make sure you have some kind of shoes on just in case
Nice cottage, the beach makes it a great place for the dogs.
Safe enclosed back garden also great for the dogs.
The cottage is finished to a high standard and makes a good family holiday home.
Lovely holiday home. Always booked out so be quick to book. Right by the beach and has all you need. Owners are lovely and quick to help out with any problems. It has lovely garden which is great in the good weather.
Sadly port Logan is no longer what it once was so no pub for meals or a quick drink anymore but could travel to port Patrick or drummore. There is a local bus service but it's not very frequent. There is at peak season a little ice cream and coffee van at the edge of the beach.
Just had our 7th stay in Rosebank, we are a family made up of two ladies, two teenagers, two pre teens and two dogs and Rosebank caters perfectly for us all. Rosebank is spotless, comfortable and so well equipt and the area is stunning. We are booked again with Denise and Nick and my daughter has also booked New Breeze for a week next year while we are in Rosebank. We cannot reccomend this area and these two cottages enough.
