Seriously just popped into the Rose and Crown it’s our daughters 25th totally understand it’s nye but there were literally 10 people in there. It’s 7:30 we were only staying for a couple so wouldn’t be there long got stared at like we were alians and told it’s ticket only and refused 1 drink so pathetic
Nice and friendly quaint pup does a good roast on a Sunday i hear, and has a beer garden and looks to have live music on some Sundays.
Lovely friendly well kept pub with a good beer garden, would recommend.
Stopped off for a pint here the other week. A typical old boys pub, everyone goes quiet when you walk through the door but they were a friendly bunch and the fella behind the bar was also a decent chap.
Worth a stop for a pint if you are on the area.

Went over Xmas lovely little pub and staff were very efficient and friendly ????????
Pleasant pub with good pub food, a good size breakfast and was cooked lovely very nice and friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable and lovely and warm we had a good nights sleep very quite location no pub noise from bar. Expect an old building!
Lovely old fashioned village pub. Friendly welcome. Well kept cask ale.
