Accidentally bump into the cafe upstairs the beautiful gift shop with warm and chill interior, nice and cozy area from a cup of coffee to a breakfast or light bite. Absolutely recommended to others and they made me a very nice breakfast upon my request even not on the menu. Not to mention the huge Victoria Sponge and Mocha Cake not overly sweet but very fresh and soft in the middle. Just right! Definitely come back again.
Listen, no messing about here. The ladies running this place are on point.. I had the avocado and poached egg on toast, and the egg was fantastically cooked.. I added Bacon and Mushrooms on the side, and they also were fab, The bacon was thick cut and cooked to perfection, all served on a bed of spinach leaves and seeds.. The coffee was fab too.. This place is small so it can get busy and there is a small staircase to manage BUT PLEASE don't let this put you off. Due to its size, I did see a table that had been prebooked, so that's possible.. Give "THE KITCHEN AT No.9" a go you won't be disappointed but you will leave happy and with possibly a new spot to Eat, Drink and Chat.. (Due to its size, it might be difficult to take younger kids, but nothing was beyond the ladies here.. Thank you for a great breakfast and help... x
Lovely, small place. Light lunches including sourdough. Staff bright and helpful. Loo is downstairs and café upstairs- and both are quite inaccessible if you have motility issues.
Beautiful cosy little place it's the second time I've eating here, food it's nice and fresh and the ladies running the place are all nice. First place in leighton where i can eat dairy free cakes. Well done to all of you.
Great place for lunch and drinks. Coffee is the best in town and food is lovely and fresh. Friendly people
After a shocking experience at Sorelli's with a rude and discriminatory waitress who made my mother cry we quickly left to visit Room No9 Cafe. I must say the service is absolutely outstanding. A particular shout out to Hayley in the cafe who took care of us the whole time we were there and made sure my disabled mother was catered for properly. My mum is also diabetic so compliments to Hayley and the chef for ensuring her food came out promptly. The quality of food was excellent. Fresh, tasteful and lots of attention to detail. Credits to the chef who was so friendly to not only the customers but staff too. Excellent work ethic from every member at the cafe. We will be back soon! ❤️
Lovely atmosphere, friendly bubbly staff! Especially Lexy who was on top of orders despite busy-ness. Food was great, jacket potato was amazing and the cakes are to die for! Overall will be coming here for my daily coffee and a cheeky cake!
Popped in with my Grandad for a quick bite to eat and a few hot drinks.
We shared the Room no.9 festive baguette, was a plentiful portion, and tasted as good as it sounded.
Particular thanks to Jem and Lexy who looked after us throughout.
Will be returning to this lovely little cafe very soon.
