The place to go if you love your Volvo. Ron was very polite and very knowledgeable when it comes to Volvo’s. Was really easy to book an appointment despite knowing they were busy, I’m really pleased with the service provided. Definitely I will comeback. Thanks
I was waiting 10 days for an appointment (fair enough). Asked for regular service. Was told that a diagnostic scan must be carried out first which is NOT for free.
1) The service was not completed properly
2) Some filters was not replaced at all ( went to another garage on my way home as engine managment light came on )
3) It took almost a week to “finish” the job ( in my previous experiences it usually took no more than an hour)
4) Top quality parts used - LIE
5) charged for 5 hours labor and payment day prior to pick up (now I know why)
Lack of professionalism, rip off money

Excellent experience. Ron sorted my problem on my c70 warning light issues. He certainly knows about volvos. I travelled from Lanarkshire to his garage and will use him again. Thanks again.
Had my Volvo XC60 in for rear tailgate malfunction with multiple issues. Ron was able to complete a diagnostic and discover several faults with boot catch and the rear struts. Firstly fixed the boot catch and replaced to ensure that maybe the only problem before moving on and the double checking the struts were broken which were replaced within a very timely fashion, overall a very knowledgeable service, cost effective and reliable service from Ron and the team so I would thoroughly recommend Ron as he probably knows Volvos better than the Volvo garages themselves, I will have no hesitation in going back to Ron for anything in the future.

Ron and his team EXPERTLY sorted out a series of issues with my Volvo XC70.
They also spotted a significant defect which had been missed during a recent MOT elsewhere.
The car now handles and drives as it should.

Holidaying in Scotland with my wife in our Volvo v60. On the return trip amber warning lights suddenly appeared in respect of the ABS and ECS system. Stopped the car and managed to find a local garage in the form of Ron and his team.Brief phone call and l was at their premises within half an hour. Mark carried out a diagnostic check and after a couple of minutes had found out what the problem was. Reassured that the brakes were manually sound and it was safe to continue our 300 mile journey south. Fantastic service and Ron even had the kindness to phone me later that evening to see how we were getting on. Restored my faith in human nature as good old fashioned service still does exist
A most impressive service, fitting in a cumbersome job at short notice while I was on holiday (split fuel filling hose on a P2 S60).
Marc was friendly, happy for me to hover about watching, and clearly very experienced with these cars. Ready at 11am as agreed for a quick smoke test, and then after leaving the car there for the rest of the morning I got the call around the expected time, that everything was complete.
Overall, although I was only there briefly, the impression I got from both Ron (on the phone) and Marc was extremely positive and I would have no hesitation taking my car in for any work which needed doing. As a cherished car where I also do routine servicing myself, I always look for the best and am reluctant to try untrusted garages, but this one now joins the trusted list. It's only a pity they're 400 miles from home!
They had lots of different Volvos outside, from many different generations, which was encouraging from the outset.
Ron and his team were absolutely fantastic. My 11 year old Volvo estate was having some serious electrical and engine issues caused by an unidentified sunroof leak. Being complete experts, they realised what the problem was straight away and fixed it promptly. It's now running better than it has in a long time, and cost much less than taking it to a Volvo dealer. Ron and his team genuinely cared and could not have been more knowledgable and willing to help. Thank you!!
