They just launched rebranded last night. So the publican has loads on his to do list. But for now the basics are up & running with Sky sports ( soon to be 2 separate channel displays), what appears to be a very comfortable indoor/outdoor area & comfy indoors. Large car park with ramp access to rear entrance. We wish him all the very best in his new venture.
Rockin Robin is a large local’s pub with a beautifully decked out interior. I love the trinkets, adverts and art work that adorn the space.
The staff are down to earth, chatty and helpful. Food choice is simple; take a look at the familiar traditional british food options on the board. Food is freshly prepared and cared. My steak baguette was the pick of the meals, the sirloin cooked a perfect rare, accompanied by crunchy baguette and skin-on-chips.
The value for money is where Rockin Robin on the Green comes into its own. 3 courses for less than £20!
Update 2023 June.
Under new management again, Master brew £4.25. Have been informed they are getting Spitfire and a guest ale. Definitely a more enjoyable visit than my last visit. Staff nice and friendly. Not sure if they are going to do any food, this may put some people off.

I was looking forward to a beer in the Rockin Robin after it's re-opening under new management, but it was closed even though it was advertised as open (issue with gas, not sure if it was heating gas or beer dispense gas) , will have to reduce my star rating until I have sampled the beer and the staff. The lower out side area was completely devoid of any seating or tables.

Great place for a beer or two. This is like a real pub of 40 years ago.
Brilliant pub with great live music
Location is only reason its not a 5 out 5 ie not a countryside location but can't fault it other than that
I come in on Sundays for the roast dinners and there are super great the roast spuds are brilliant you have a choice of 3 to 4 meats Yorkshires are homemade not shop bought ones brilliant
The staff are very friendly and nice home cook food in the week as well which is also very nice and on a Thursday they do a steak night as well
Top stars and after a year not one thing as change food is still great as just had a roast dinner turkey and all cook right
Really enjoyed my meal really wold recommend it

There was a great live band and the service was great with excellent food and ales
The pub was empty but, beer was excellent the food was very very good. The steak was excellent and the sides were sublime. Would absolutely recommend.
