I am sad too say after using rob at rob palmers auto tech for many years that now the company dramatically has gone down hill after recently taking my Land Rover discovery to them for a coolant leak I was told it was the expansion tank which he replaced after a couple of days notice warning light came back on the dashboard so took it back and was told it was a faulty tank had it replaced again but the fault still came back tried to rebook it in but was told they are to busy to look at it was changed each time for the same repair tried several times to rebook it in but always told I would have to wait at least 2/3 weeks before they could look at it so in the end I took it to another garage who found the fault straight away it was from a job they had done previously when they bypass my DPS and rerouted the coolant pipes it was resting on my exhaust manifold and rubbing on engine tried to contact them about this several times and was told rob would contact me back but nothing shocking work and very disappointed I would seriously think twice before using them
They are a very busy garage for a reason. They are good at what they do. I have a Ford focus eco boost, and having the wet cam belt changed is a big, expensive job. They did a brilliant job, and compared to the Ford garage, at an amazing price

Takes on too much work to be able to get a job done right first time. Spent the last six weeks backwards and forwards before he finally managed to get a replacement clutch kit to operate satisfactorily. Was initially told the vehicle was all done only to get there to find the vehicle actually sounded like a bag of nails and wouldn’t even go in gear. Wasn’t until I got a second opinion and mentioned court action that he finally got it sorted. Won’t be using this garage again.
