Heating broken. Restaurant took our booking but utterly failed to say they had no heating tonight. Simply too cold to eat here so we upped sticks and left. Suggest you all check if booking for the next few weeks, whether they have heat! Wasted our time!
I love this chinese restaurant yes they arnt getting much business and it's not there fault they are really kind staff and they are trying there best I love there chow mein especially the beef and the chicken balls and sour dip is wonderfull I go here every day and I just love the kindness and the environment in the summer its nice to sit on the bridge listening to the birds or sitting inside looking at the fish tanks please come here guys I would recommend ive tried the curry and I find it Ok i don't know why people say its bad because its not the best time is the evening I like the most as it mainly quiet the price isn't bad but dose sometimes a pain but I know why they put it high because they don't get enough business and the people in cowbridge don't go here alot it's quite sad how they are missing out on a delicious meal thank you river view chinese
Can't comment on food or service as closed when phone rings, but not open. Drove to restaurant to order only to discover that they are closed. Google times says open, awful service.
Lovely food ???? The woman that was serving us that evening was amazing nothing was a trouble for her, We all left happy ????
This was our first time visiting this restaurant and it definitely won't be our last. The place was clean and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience, even entertaining our three year old and really making her feel like the most important part of their evening. We went with the buffet option and all the food was tasty and brought out fresh and at no point were we waiting for service. I really can't recommend this place enough. If the staff do read these comments then I'd like to say a huge thank you to them. You were fab and your restaurant is wonderful. We look forward to visiting again
Thought I'd give this place a second chance,still the worst chicken curry I've ever tasted sloppy pre boiled chicken, the cheapest green salty curry sauce, hardly any onion 2 button mushrooms absolutely disgusting never again, beef in black bean sauce was like eating oversalted leather and tiny portion of that.
Had a delivery and in fairness great foo yung but the worst tasting Chinese chicken curry I have ever tasted extremely salty and a real strange unappealing colour also sweet and sour pork comes saturated in the sauce which makes the batter sickly and soft.
A lovely Chinese Restaurant serving scrumptious first class food. Meat and vegetables are really tender. I had the Beef with Cashew Nuts and Noodles, which was superb. The China Tea was certainly different to what I usually drink, but it was nice. Lovely furnishings too.
